• Identify and manage legal risk in commercial transactions, flagging issues clearly and proposing workable solutions rather than just problems. • Draft, review, and negotiate a high volume of varying commercial contracts, including but not limited to EPC agreements, equipment purchase and supply agreements, power purchase agreements, land licenses, and vendor/service contracts. • Serve as a strategic legal partner to the business development, procurement, construction, and finance teams — providing practical, deal-forward guidance under time pressure. • Build and maintain Giga’s contract templates, playbooks, and standard terms to enable the business to move faster and more consistently. • Support financing and real estate transactions as needed, including review of lease agreements, easements, and financing documents. • Manage outside counsel relationships on commercial matters, including scoping work, managing spend, and ensuring quality output. • Support the development of legal processes and infrastructure as Giga scales, including contract management systems and internal workflows. • Stay current on legal developments relevant to energy infrastructure, construction, and AI data center development.
• Own cost control and forecasting across a portfolio of capital construction projects — including budget development, commitment tracking, cost-to-complete forecasting, and variance analysis. • Build and maintain integrated project schedules in collaboration with Engineering and Construction teams; monitor progress, identify critical path risks, and communicate schedule impacts to leadership. • Develop and maintain earned value management (EVM) reporting to provide real-time visibility into project performance against cost and schedule baselines. • Produce weekly and monthly project controls reports for Finance and executive leadership, translating complex data into clear, actionable narratives. • Manage change control processes: track change orders, assess cost and schedule impacts, and ensure all changes are documented and reflected in updated baselines. • Partner with Procurement and Accounts Payable to ensure contractor invoices, purchase orders, and accruals are accurately coded and aligned with project budgets. • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities across the project portfolio; proactively surface issues before they become cost or schedule overruns. • Improve and standardize project controls tools, templates, and processes across Giga's growing project portfolio.
• Own capital formation across the portfolio — set the financing strategy for Giga’s full pipeline of power and data center assets, determining how each project gets capitalized across debt, tax equity, sponsor equity, and alternative structures. • Lead the project finance function end to end — from originating lender and investor relationships, to structuring and negotiating facilities, to closing deals, to managing post-close compliance and reporting. • Build and lead the team — hire, develop, and manage the project finance organization. Define the operating model, the review process, and the bar for financial rigor as the team scales from one to many. • Structure and close financings at scale — negotiate non-recourse and limited-recourse debt facilities, construction financing, tax equity partnerships, back-leverage, holdco debt, and other structures with institutional lenders, infrastructure funds, and strategic partners. • Serve as Giga’s principal face to the capital markets — own relationships with tier-one project finance banks, infrastructure funds, tax equity investors, and ratings agencies. Build the institutional credibility that unlocks favorable terms across the portfolio. • Drive deals to close on Giga’s timelines — lead financial due diligence and lender-facing workstreams, coordinate across legal, engineering, and operations, and hold the pen on the financial narrative from term sheet through funding. • Partner with the CEO and CFO on enterprise capital strategy — inform decisions on project selection, portfolio construction, capital allocation, and the corporate financing stack that sits above the project level. • Represent the company to the board and investment committees — translate complex multi-layer financing structures into clear risk-return narratives for the board, external investors, and credit committees on the other side of the table. • Build the internal financial infrastructure — models, templates, underwriting standards, governance, reporting cadences, and lender compliance systems that scale with deal volume as Giga grows.
• Develop and maintain the electrical POR for Giga Data Centers, defining the "Gold Standard" design that enables manufacturing of reliability and efficiency at scale. • Author and own the internal engineering library including technical specifications and Basis of Design documents for all power systems, establishing what we build and how we measure success. • Design to global and local standards, ensuring strict compliance with the NEC (NFPA 70), NFPA 70E, and IEEE standards for mission-critical power distribution. • Guide external engineering (A&E) firms to localize designs while maintaining strict adherence to core power performance intent and standardization requirements. • Execute rigorous power system studies, including load flow, short circuit, protective device coordination, and arc flash analysis to ensure system resilience and safety. • Engineer complex, high-density power distribution topologies (Medium Voltage down to the rack PDU) aligned with OCP (Open Compute Project) specifications for AI interoperability. • Select and specify medium/low voltage switchgear, generators, UPS systems, transformers, ATS/STS units, and high-ampacity busways for high-density compute environments. • Create detailed Bills of Material (BOMs), Quantity Take Offs (QTOs), and Commissioning scripts to support a manufacturing-first supply chain. • Develop Sequence of Operations (SOO) and Control Narratives for EPMS/BMS integration, dictating how electrical systems respond to utility failures and dynamic AI load changes. • Use advanced simulation tools to optimize power system reliability and validate designs before manufacturing.
• Develop detailed site layouts, including grading plans, drainage systems, utility routing, and structural foundations. • Conduct site assessments, geotechnical reviews, and environmental impact studies to determine project viability. • Navigate local zoning laws and building codes; manage the permitting process with municipal and state agencies. • Create and maintain project schedules and budgets; manage sub-contractors and vendors to ensure high-quality execution. • Design or review structural calculations for specialized equipment housing (e.g., pads for cooling units, heavy electrical infrastructure). • Perform regular site inspections to ensure construction aligns with engineering specifications and safety standards.
• Own the product narrative for Giga's AI data center and full-stack development offering, from positioning and messaging to story architecture across segments • Develop and maintain core messaging for hyperscalers, neoclouds, and BTC/HPC operators, tailored to how each segment evaluates and selects development partners • Partner with your technical PMM counterpart to ensure infrastructure messaging ladders up into the broader development story • Lead the development of case studies, solution narratives, and proof points that demonstrate Giga's full-stack delivery capability • Build and refine core product marketing materials: one-pagers, solution briefs, sales enablement decks, and RFP-ready narratives • Drive product launch campaigns for new site and development offerings — from internal alignment through external rollout • Own Giga's presence at key industry events: develop showcase narratives, booth experiences, and presentation content that make Giga impossible to ignore • Work directly with business development and sales to understand how buyers think, what objections look like in the field, and where the narrative is winning or falling short • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to stay ahead of what Giga is building and translate it into market-facing stories before the competition can catch up.
• Serve as the company-wide owner of the UL relationship, acting as the primary liaison between Giga Energy and UL across all product lines and business units • Maintain existing UL certifications for oil-filled transformers and low-voltage switchgear, ensuring continued compliance, timely renewals, and smooth audit processes • Lead the end-to-end certification process for new product lines — scoping applicable standards, opening cases, preparing documentation, coordinating testing, managing timelines, and driving projects through to listing • Develop and maintain internal processes and playbooks for UL certification so the company can scale its product portfolio without bottlenecks • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, and operations to ensure designs meet UL requirements early in the development cycle, not after the fact • Track and communicate changes to UL standards, policies, and procedures that may affect current or planned certifications • Manage UL-related budgets, timelines, and reporting to leadership
• Own revenue generation within the data center market by prospecting, developing, and closing new customer opportunities • Serve as the primary point of contact for EPCs, electrical contractors, consulting engineers, data center operators, colocation providers, and enterprise customers • Gather and validate customer requirements, translating technical needs into accurate, competitive quotes and solutions • Build and manage a strong pipeline through consistent prospecting, referrals, and relationship expansion • Travel regularly to customer sites, conferences, and industry events to build pipeline and maintain market presence • Develop deep product knowledge across transformers, switchboards, and related electrical infrastructure to effectively position solutions • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities to expand revenue within existing accounts • Maintain pricing discipline and margin ownership while closing commercially sound deals • Collaborate with Sales Engineering, Product, and internal stakeholders to advance opportunities and resolve technical questions • Maintain accurate CRM hygiene in HubSpot, including activities, deal stages, and forecasts • Partner with Finance to convert quotes into purchase orders and invoices efficiently • Track market trends, competitive dynamics, and customer feedback, sharing insights with Product and Marketing teams
