Role Description As Giga's Crane Marshal, you will own the planning, standardization, and field execution of all heavy lifting operations across our data center construction projects. Every critical lift—from setting modular data center skids and generators to transformers, chillers, and structural steel—will move through your process. This is not a dispatcher role. You'll spend the majority of your time in the field working shoulder-to-shoulder with crane operators, rigging contractors, superintendents, and subcontractors to ensure every lift is engineered, planned, and executed safely and efficiently. Beyond supporting individual projects, you'll build Giga's heavy lift program. You'll develop repeatable lift methodologies, standard pick plans, rigging standards, crane selection guidelines, and planning tools that can be deployed across every site we build. You'll review and challenge lift plans, validate crane selections, verify ground conditions, coordinate logistics, and ensure each pick is executable before equipment ever arrives onsite. At Giga, lifting isn't treated as a routine construction activity—it's one of our highest-risk operations. You'll own making sure every lift goes exactly according to plan. Responsibilities - Own Giga's heavy lift program across all active construction projects. - Develop standardized lifting procedures, rigging practices, crane selection criteria, and engineered pick methodologies that become the company standard across future projects. - Build reusable lift plans for recurring installations including modular data center skids, generators, transformers, chillers, switchgear, and other standardized equipment. - Create planning templates, lift checklists, and engineering standards that reduce planning effort while improving consistency across projects. - Work directly with crane and rigging contractors to develop comprehensive engineered lift plans for critical and non-routine lifts. - Review crane sizing, load charts, lift radii, boom configurations, rigging arrangements, and equipment capacities to validate lift feasibility. - Coordinate sequencing for installation of modular data center skids, generators, transformers, chillers, switchgear, structural steel, and other heavy equipment. - Verify ground bearing pressures, crane mat requirements, underground utility conflicts, overhead hazards, and crane access routes prior to mobilization. - Lead pre-lift meetings with project teams, subcontractors, crane operators, rigging crews, and safety personnel. - Verify all rigging equipment is inspected, certified, and appropriate for each lift. - Ensure lift plans comply with OSHA, ASME B30 standards, manufacturer recommendations, and company lifting procedures. - Coordinate with project scheduling teams to maximize crane utilization across multiple work fronts and minimize equipment idle time. - Participate in site planning to ensure crane access, assembly areas, laydown yards, and swing radii are incorporated into construction sequencing early in design. - Review transport routes, staging areas, delivery sequencing, and laydown logistics for oversized equipment deliveries. - Conduct field audits of lifting operations and intervene whenever work deviates from approved lift plans. - Maintain documentation including lift plans, crane inspections, rigging certifications, operator qualifications, and lift records. - Capture lessons learned from each project and continuously improve Giga's lifting standards and best practices. - Support procurement by reviewing crane proposals, evaluating equipment alternatives, negotiating lifting approaches with vendors, and assisting with crane and rigging contractor selection. Qualifications - 7+ years of experience managing crane operations, rigging, or heavy lift activities on commercial, industrial, energy, manufacturing, or mission-critical construction projects. - Demonstrated experience planning and executing critical lifts involving large cranes (100–500+ ton class preferred). - Strong understanding of crane load charts, lift planning software, rigging calculations, center of gravity considerations, and heavy transport logistics. - Experience developing standardized lifting procedures or overseeing lifting programs across multiple projects is strongly preferred. - Experience coordinating heavy equipment installation including generators, transformers, process equipment, modular buildings, structural steel, or similar infrastructure. - Working knowledge of OSHA crane regulations, ASME B30 standards, and industry best practices for critical lift planning. - Ability to read construction drawings, civil grading plans, structural foundation drawings, and equipment shop drawings. - Excellent communication skills with the ability to coordinate between project management, crane vendors, subcontractors, engineers, and field crews. - Comfortable spending the majority of time onsite actively supporting construction operations. Bonus Points - NCCCO certification or previous experience as a certified crane operator. - Experience managing lifting operations for modular construction or hyperscale data center construction. - Familiarity with engineered lift studies and crane simulation software. - Experience working with crawler cranes, hydraulic truck cranes, rough terrain cranes, and self-propelled modular transporters (SPMTs). - Knowledge of ground improvement, crane mat design, and geotechnical considerations for crane setup. - Experience with Procore or equivalent construction management platforms. - Experience building company-wide lifting standards or heavy lift programs across multiple concurrent projects. • Own the end-to-end NDA process — draft, negotiate, and drive NDAs to execution independently, escalating to attorneys only on true edge cases. • Design and own a centralized legal intake process, replacing today’s scattered mix of personal email, Slack channels and DMs, and texts with a single, clear front door for legal requests. • Triage incoming legal requests — route them appropriately and set expectations on turnaround. • Enforce the intake process company-wide: when requests bypass it, redirect requesters back into the right workflow, including on Dave’s behalf. • Manage the full signature pipeline — queue documents, send for e-signature, and track them to completion. • Maintain and organize the contract repository so agreements are easy to find, track, and report on. • Partner with attorneys and business teams to keep the legal function organized and responsive as request volume grows. • Take on larger, higher-complexity projects as you build trust and track record in the role.

• Contribute to the development and maintenance of the electrical POR for Giga Data Centers, supporting the "Gold Standard" design that enables manufacturing of reliability and efficiency at scale. • Author technical specifications and Basis of Design documents for assigned power systems within the internal engineering library. • Design to global and local standards, ensuring strict compliance with the NEC (NFPA 70), NFPA 70E, and IEEE standards for mission-critical power distribution. • Support external engineering (A&E) firms in localizing designs, reviewing deliverables for adherence to core power performance intent and standardization requirements. • Execute rigorous power system studies, including load flow, short circuit, protective device coordination, and arc flash analysis to ensure system resilience and safety. • Engineer high-density power distribution topologies (Medium Voltage down to the rack PDU) aligned with OCP (Open Compute Project) specifications for AI interoperability. • Select and specify medium/low voltage switchgear, generators, UPS systems, transformers, ATS/STS units, and high-ampacity busways for high-density compute environments. • Create detailed Bills of Material (BOMs), Quantity Take Offs (QTOs), and Commissioning scripts to support a manufacturing-first supply chain. • Contribute to Sequence of Operations (SOO) and Control Narratives for EPMS/BMS integration, defining how electrical systems respond to utility failures and dynamic AI load changes. • Use advanced simulation tools to optimize power system reliability and validate designs before manufacturing.

• Own Giga’s performance bond strategy end-to-end — structuring and negotiating with sureties to satisfy lender and customer requirements on live deals • Build and manage relationships with insurance brokers and surety providers, taking Giga’s risk profile to market and negotiating terms on a project-by-project basis. • Design and enforce subcontractor bonding requirements, determining what percentage of subcontracted work needs to be bonded on each project. • Right-size Giga’s corporate and project-level insurance programs as the company takes on larger, higher-risk deals. • Get creative when Giga’s balance sheet can’t support the bond size a deal requires — structuring alternative solutions to keep contracts moving. • Partner closely with Legal, Finance, and Growth to build bonding and insurance requirements into deal structuring up front, rather than after contracts are signed. • Advise executive leadership on risk exposure, market conditions, and what’s realistically achievable with sureties and insurers. • Lay the groundwork to build and lead a team as Giga’s enterprise risk function grows.

• As a Senior PLC Engineer, you'll own the controls software that keeps our infrastructure online. • This is a hands-on build role. • You'll take an architecture from concept to commissioned, running system, programming the PLCs and SCADA and writing the software, services, and tooling around them. • Design, develop, test, and commission PLC programs on Siemens (TIA Portal, S7-1500/1200) and/or Rockwell/Allen-Bradley (Studio 5000, ControlLogix/CompactLogix) platforms, using IEC 61131-3 languages (Structured Text and ladder), for cooling and mechanical plant equipment: CDUs, chillers, hydraulic skids, fan walls, DOAS, and pumps. • Develop the supervisory logic for the Master Plant Controller, including equipment staging, lead/lag, setpoint reset, failover, and plant-level coordination across multiple skids. • Build and maintain the SCADA/HMI layer (Siemens WinCC, Rockwell FactoryTalk View, or Ignition): operator screens, alarming, trending, historian, and access control. • Write robust safety logic, interlocks, and alarm strategies for pressurized and high-power equipment, and uphold a safety-first engineering standard. • Integrate OEM-controlled equipment such as chillers and DOAS over Modbus TCP, BACnet, OPC UA, EtherNet/IP, and PROFINET, defining and validating register and object maps. • Build process simulations and digital twins (Siemens PLCSIM Advanced / SIMIT, Rockwell Studio 5000 Emulate / Emulate3D, or scripted models) to validate logic and tune control loops before site deployment. • Lead field commissioning, startup, and loop checks. Troubleshoot live systems and drive issues to resolution. • Apply real software engineering practices to controls work: version control, code review, modular and reusable function-block libraries, and clear naming and documentation standards. • Build the general-purpose software around the controls stack: data pipelines, monitoring and telemetry services, edge and cloud integrations, internal tooling, and automation that connects plant data to the rest of Giga's systems. • Translate the controls engineer's architecture and sequence-of-operations into working, well-structured, maintainable code. • Operate comfortably in ambiguous, unstructured environments and solve problems where established processes don't yet exist.

• Support corporate governance across Giga’s legal entities, including board and committee matters, subsidiary maintenance, and minute books. • Assist with equity administration and related legal work, including option grants, secondary transactions, and cap table matters in coordination with finance. • Support financing transactions, including venture rounds, debt facilities, and project finance structures, working alongside external counsel as needed. • Support regulatory compliance efforts across federal, state, and local requirements relevant to Giga’s business, including energy, construction, and data privacy. • Draft and negotiate corporate and general commercial agreements including NDAs, consulting agreements, IP assignments, and intercompany arrangements. • Advise on employment law matters in coordination with HR, including offer letters, separation agreements, equity-related employee questions, and policy development. • Manage and coordinate outside counsel relationships on corporate matters, including scoping, billing oversight, and quality control. • Build scalable legal processes and templates as Giga grows, including contract playbooks, approval workflows, and entity management tools. • Partner cross-functionally with finance, HR, operations, and leadership on strategic and time-sensitive legal matters.

• Customize switchboard, PDU, and RPP designs based on customer specifications and project requirements • Create detailed mechanical and electrical CAD drawings in SolidWorks, adhering to UL 891, UL 67, and other applicable standards • Maintain up-to-date design documentation and clearly communicate changes to relevant stakeholders • Review and verify all drawings to ensure clarity, manufacturability, and alignment with technical requirements • Troubleshoot design issues during production in collaboration with manufacturing teams • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously and deliver on deadlines • Communicate effectively across time zones to align technical deliverables and resolve any issues quickly

Role Description As Building Architect, you'll support the design and deployment of Giga's data center product line across the United States. You'll work at the intersection of standardized modular design and real-world project execution, adapting repeatable solutions to meet local code requirements and site-specific constraints. - Help translate our industrial manufacturing approach into permit-ready architectural packages that satisfy Building Officials, Fire Marshals, and Planning Departments across diverse jurisdictions. - This role combines practical architectural problem-solving with mission-critical execution. - Develop architectural documentation, coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, and contribute to the rapid deployment of data center facilities throughout the country. Responsibilities - Develop architectural drawing packages for data center deployment projects using Revit. - Coordinate closely with Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, and Civil teams to ensure integrated project delivery. - Adapt standardized building solutions to meet local jurisdictional requirements and project-specific constraints. - Support permit submissions and assist with responses to plan review comments from local Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs). - Participate in life safety and code analysis efforts, including occupant load calculations, egress strategies, and accessibility compliance. - Assist with preparation of code analysis sheets, life safety plans, and permit documentation. - Design and coordinate building envelope systems, including pre-engineered metal building (PEMB) components and waterproofing details. - Produce site plans that account for operational requirements, logistics, utility coordination, and future expansion opportunities. - Maintain architectural Revit models and ensure proper coordination with linked consultant models. - Develop and maintain architectural details, schedules, and standardized project components. - Support internal design reviews and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve deployment efficiency. - Participate in occasional meetings with regulatory officials, consultants, and project stakeholders as needed. Qualifications - Bachelor's (B.Arch) or Master's (M.Arch) degree in Architecture. - 5+ years of architectural experience. - Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit for BIM modeling and documentation. - Experience producing construction documents and coordinating multidisciplinary projects. - Working knowledge of the International Building Code (IBC) and accessibility requirements under ADA and ANSI A117.1. - Excellent communication and organizational skills. - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment. • As Senior Structural Engineer, you'll serve as the technical authority for the structural design of Giga's modular data center product line and associated site infrastructure. • You'll own the Structural Plan of Record (POR), ensuring all designs meet Risk Category IV requirements for essential facilities while optimizing for Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DfMA). • You'll bridge the gap between innovative modular product design and traditional site infrastructure, creating standardized solutions that can scale across hundreds of deployments. • You will stamp drawings, manage peer reviews, resolve cross-discipline clashes before steel is cut, and develop standardized structural templates that compress engineering cycle time across hundreds of deployments. • This role is deeply collaborative, working closely with manufacturing, MEP, and field teams from design through delivery.

• Identify and manage legal risk in commercial transactions, flagging issues clearly and proposing workable solutions rather than just problems. • Draft, review, and negotiate a high volume of varying commercial contracts, including but not limited to EPC agreements, equipment purchase and supply agreements, power purchase agreements, land licenses, and vendor/service contracts. • Serve as a strategic legal partner to the business development, procurement, construction, and finance teams — providing practical, deal-forward guidance under time pressure. • Build and maintain Giga’s contract templates, playbooks, and standard terms to enable the business to move faster and more consistently. • Support financing and real estate transactions as needed, including review of lease agreements, easements, and financing documents. • Manage outside counsel relationships on commercial matters, including scoping work, managing spend, and ensuring quality output. • Support the development of legal processes and infrastructure as Giga scales, including contract management systems and internal workflows. • Stay current on legal developments relevant to energy infrastructure, construction, and AI data center development.
