Senior Accountant
Cresta
• Execute period-end close activities, including the preparation of journal entries, reconciliations and other relevant working papers • Partner with external vendors to ensure timely and accurate set up in Cresta’s AP platform • Manage vendor bills to ensure they are accounted, reviewed and paid for in accordance with relevant policies • Review customer contracts to ensure timely and accurate invoicing and proper application of ASC 606 for revenue recognition • Facilitate the adoption of new accounting policies and updates to existing policies • Prepare financial statements and other records in accordance with U.S. GAAP • Lead the optimization of existing processes and procedures within the accounting team • Facilitate payroll processing for the company and subsidiaries • Support cross-functional teams to optimize operating activities and facilitate strong information flow
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business
- 2 or more years of relevant work experience in accounting or auditing
- Strong knowledge of general accounting principles (U.S. GAAP)
- Strong knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to be an effective individual contributor by planning, executing and delivering projects in a timely manner

• Perform and oversee daily, weekly, and monthly cash reconciliations with high accuracy • Support general ledger accounting including journal entries and account reconciliations • Identify discrepancies and collaborate cross-functionally to resolve issues promptly • Assist with month-end and year-end close processes • Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with accounting standards • Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting when needed
