• Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS). • Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes, and security configurations. • Monitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning. • Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval, and success of changes made to the network infrastructure. • Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.

Job Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience as a network engineer within the DoW environment.
  • Experience Substitution: 1 academic year at an accredited college or university in an an accredited preferred degree related post-secondary program for 1 year of experience.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Personnel Clearance Level:**
  • Candidate must possess or have the ability to obtain an active Secret security clearance or higher.
  • A clearance will not be sponsored.*
  • Education Requirements:**
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science or related field of study.
  • 7+ years of experience, may be substituted for degree requirement.*
