Role Description Sigma Defense is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join our team at Patuxent River NAS, MD. - Support PMA-290 Mission Systems Integrated Product Team Lead (IPTL) in support of Combat and Mission Systems. - CONOPS analysis, requirements decomposition, software development plan and schedule, and program execution efforts meeting 100% of Fleet expectations. - Develop technical capabilities roadmaps. - Participate in ECP/TD development, approval, and implementation. - Generate engineering and technical analyses, requirements UI designs, change proposals, and other technical documentation as required. - Assist in troubleshooting the P-8A Mission Systems and Combat Systems when malfunctions and failures are reported by Fleet customers. - Assist in on-going implementation of the Agile Development methodology. - Support all efforts to remove impediments of the engineering team to ensure on time delivery and completion of sprints and deliverables (A003). - Support the development, design, and architecture recommendations for current and future PEO C4I Software (SW) and hardware (HW) baselines. - Decompose high level CDP's (Correction of Deficiency Packages) into requirements and use cases that can be developed against by the SW team. - Consult with SME's of different onboard systems to facilitate working groups to define fleet desires into concrete workable tasks. - Assist SW team in defining scope of work and definition of done through iterative requirements approval meetings. - Create use case documentation to demonstrate proposed changes for stakeholder approval and SW team decomposition. Qualifications - 2-5 years of one of the following: - Systems Engineering Experience - P8 Mission System Experience - P8 Combat Systems Experience - Naval/DoD Application Software Development Experience - Must be a U.S. citizen. - Strong writing/communication skills. - Personnel Clearance Level: Candidate must possess or have the ability to obtain an active Secret security clearance or higher. Role Description Sigma Defense is seeking a Cybersecurity Lead Engineer to support an enterprise DevSecOps platform. - Support DevSecOps and Software Engineers in developing secure platforms and effectively communicating regarding the risk posture of the platforms. - Support of full RMF lifecycle for authorization and re-authorization of existing and novel capabilities including regular communication with stakeholders and authorizing personnel. - Identification and reduction of system vulnerabilities to achieve compliance objectives. - Mentorship and proliferation of cybersecurity culture within team. Qualifications - 8-10 years of Cybersecurity experience. - Experience with DoW RMF policy. - Experience maintaining cybersecurity on an enterprise DevSecOps platform. - Registered DoW RMF Practitioner (RDRP) is preferred. - Must be a U.S. citizen. Role Description Sigma Defense is seeking a Deliverables Program Manager to lead the coordination, consolidation, quality control, and submission of customer and contract deliverables supporting DOW customers. This position ensures deliverables are accurate, audit-ready, properly formatted, and compliant with contractual requirements, customer standards, and program governance processes. - Manage structured document review and submission workflows. - Maintain version control and traceability. - Support timely delivery of reports, plans, meeting materials, action items, procurement-related packages, and transition documentation. - Work closely with program, finance, contracts, operations, and technical teams to ensure deliverables are complete, consistent, and ready for customer review. This is a contingent role pending award and funding of position. This means that the position is subject to the successful awarding of a contract and will be confirmed once the contract is finalized. The candidate selected for this role will be offered the position on the condition that the contract is awarded to our organization and this position is funded. Qualifications - Experience managing contract deliverables, reporting, document control, or program support functions. - Experience supporting DOW, federal, combatant command, or mission-focused customer environments. - Ability to manage multiple deliverables, deadlines, inputs, reviews, and approvals. - Strong writing, editing, formatting, quality control, and document management skills. - Knowledge of contract deliverables, audit readiness, and customer reporting standards. - Ability to consolidate technical, financial, staffing, risk, schedule, and management inputs. - Experience with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and document management tools. - Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain version control, traceability, and data integrity. - Ability to support controlled access to sensitive information. - 5-8 years of experience in Program Management or related field. - Must be a U.S. citizen.
