Product Coordinator Consultant

World Food Programme

Role Description The World Food Programme (WFP) is seeking a Product Coordinator Consultant to manage internal administrative matters related to the "Building Blocks" (BB) system, which applies blockchain technology to enhance humanitarian aid. - Keep up in-depth understanding of WFP’s complex functional units and their interplay. - Build productive working relationships with WFP’s functional units. - Stay updated with strategic organizational developments and advise on BB's alignment with trends/requirements. - Support scoping activities to evaluate BB’s potential application for WFP and partner operations globally. - Assist in operational roll-out and scale-up activities as needed. - Manage BB’s internal needs, collaborating with Programme, Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, Audit, and Legal functions. - Develop and manage BB funding proposals. - Perform any other relevant tasks. Qualifications - University degree in law, business, communications, psychology, or related field. - At least three years of relevant professional experience. - Project management experience is an asset. - Intermediate finance/budget skills is an asset. - Fluency (level C) in English language. - Intermediate knowledge (level B) of a second official UN language is desirable. Requirements - Continually strives to develop new skills outside of comfort zone. - Highly autonomous and able to work with minimum supervision. - Able to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. - High tolerance for ambiguity and ability to decide from incomplete information. - Ability to come up with innovative solutions to problems without precedent. - Strong conflict resolution and consensus-building skills.
