The Role Block is building the next generation of commerce experiences for merchants and PSPs through Afterpay. As part of Block's Solutions Engineering team, you will be a senior technical leader driving complex partner and merchant integrations. You'll work directly with Sales, Partnerships, and Product teams to deeply understand customer needs, showcase our APIs and services, and solve challenging technical problems that accelerate adoption. You Will - Partner with Sales, Relationship Management, Partnerships to support developers integrating with our platform - Design and deliver technical solutions, including building proof-of-concepts, custom reports, sample integrations, and troubleshooting complex issues. - Act as a trusted technical advisor - translating business requirements into scalable integration approaches and advocating for best practices. - Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to surface customer feedback and influence the roadmap. - Create and deliver compelling demos, presentations, and technical deep dives for both executive and engineering stakeholders. - Communicate product features, updates, and technical guidance clearly across internal teams and external customers. • Design and implement the software layers that allow ML models to interact with a real-time rendering engine. • Evaluate incoming customer requirements to determine the optimal path forward. • Build and maintain wrappers, APIs, and microservices that allow our ML stack to remain flexible and language-agnostic across different production environments. • Act as the primary technical liaison between technical leadership, customers, and the core engineering team to spec out data and integration requirements. • Break down complex product visions into manageable architectural components, ensuring that ML components ship as part of a stable, scalable software product.

• Lead the design of Unifier and other PMIS solutions • Work directly with clients to gather requirements, make recommendations, take detailed notes, and convey those to other members of the project team • Create strategy documents, such as integration strategy, PMIS strategy, training strategy, etc • Create detailed design documentation, and artifacts • Work with developers and development leads to manage Unifier/PMIS development • Be able to create proof of concepts to demonstrate key functionality • Quality assurance on solutions developed by digital teams • Execute UAT process and obtain final sign off from clients • Assist with the development of integration and migration plans • Escalate any issues promptly to project leadership • Demo solutions to clients • Ability to manage shifting priorities and adapt quickly • Support sales process as needed
