Sales Development Representative
InfluxData
• Researching new accounts to create a strong point of view as to the value InfluxDB could bring to their DevOps, IoT, AI or Data Science use cases. • Creating a high volume & high qualify output of daily outbound outreach into senior level contacts within your assigned target accounts to generate qualified new business meetings for your AEs • Engaging with contacts through email, phone, social and video • Passionately articulating how InfluxDB can make a major difference to new customers • Nurturing prospects from early stage interest through to becoming a qualified lead
Job Requirements
- 1+ year of sales, recruiting, or equivalent consultative experience
- Track record of top 10% performance and/or attainment in a professional position or dedicated discipline
- A passion for technology and a technical aptitude to master sales tools
- Superior written and verbal communication skills, able to talk to all levels at an organization
- Entrepreneurial mind-set with a hunger to succeed
- Bonus points if you have experience selling open source/SaaS
- Have experience working for a startup / growth stage technology company
- Have prior MEDDIC and/or Command of the Message training
- Have experience in NoSQL data technologies or other modern data platforms
- Have experience selling enterprise management solutions (Systems Management, Cloud Management, log analytics, APM, Network Monitoring)
- Demonstrable history of meeting or exceeding a new business meetings quota
- Experience with Outreach/SalesLoft/Lavender/Lusha/ZoomInfo/LinkedIn SalesNav
- Experience using ChatGPT / Google Gemini to create compelling prospecting emails
