Role Description The Market Research Analyst supports internal research across a range of priorities within Haldren. The role involves gathering, organising, and analysing information, structuring findings clearly, and producing work that is accurate, usable, and relevant to current business needs. This position suits someone who is comfortable working across different research requests, managing deadlines, and maintaining a high standard of quality in day-to-day output. The analyst will work independently in a remote environment, interfacing directly with internal stakeholders and contributing to the quality and reliability of Haldren's research capability. Key Responsibilities - Conduct market research across a range of sectors, companies, and business topics - Gather, verify, and organise information from multiple sources - Prepare summaries, briefs, and research outputs for internal use - Analyse findings and present them in a clear and structured format - Track developments, trends, and relevant market activity as required - Maintain research files, reference materials, and working documents - Support ad hoc research requests with accuracy and good turnaround times - Contribute to continuous improvement by helping refine research processes and documentation Qualifications - Experience in market research, business research, intelligence, or a related analytical role - Strong ability to work with information in a structured and accurate way - Good written English and the ability to present findings clearly - Strong attention to detail and commitment to source accuracy - Ability to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities - Confidence working independently in a remote environment - Good judgement when handling research requests and interpreting findings - Comfortable using online research tools, spreadsheets, and standard office software Requirements - Experience supporting internal business, commercial, or strategy-focused research - Exposure to company research, competitor research, or industry analysis - Strong Excel or Google Sheets capability - Experience preparing slides, summaries, or briefing materials - Familiarity with professional services, recruitment, or consulting environments Benefits - Remote work arrangement - Opportunities for professional growth - Flat management structure with direct access to decision-makers - Open communication environment
