Registered Nurse (RN) - Tele-Stroke

Role Description As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. - Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and communication skills while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum. - Telestroke RN works collaboratively with the medical team to coordinate appropriate care for acute stroke patients via virtual care. Qualifications - Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing. - At least 5 years of RN experience; this position is not for new grads. - Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices. - Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association. - Must have NIHSS certification. - Experience in critical care, emergency services, and/or care of acute stroke patients. Requirements - Part time status with 24 hours per week. - Schedule details: 11A-11P. - Pay range: $38.20 - $57.30. - This position is fully remote, with a contingency plan to the closest Atrium facility with telestroke set up. - Remote position that cares for the acute stroke population in the Greater Charlotte Market. - Must be able to deploy to local Atrium facility if needed.
