Role Description The Corporate Travel Agent is responsible for planning, booking, ticketing, and managing end-to-end business travel for employees while ensuring compliance with company travel policies, cost controls, and service-level expectations. This role supports travelers before, during, and after trips, handling complex itineraries, changes, and disruptions with professionalism and urgency. Key Responsibilities - Book, ticket, and manage domestic and international travel, including air, hotel, and car rental. - Ensure all travel arrangements comply with corporate travel policies and negotiated supplier agreements. - Provide real-time traveler support for itinerary changes, cancellations, delays, and emergencies. - Must have experience in corporate booking tools and GDS platforms (e.g., Concur, Sabre). - Advise travelers on visa requirements, passports, travel restrictions, and health/safety guidelines. - Coordinate with airlines, hotels, and travel suppliers to resolve issues and secure best available options. - Track unused tickets, credits, and exchanges to maximize cost recovery. - Support duty-of-care initiatives and traveler tracking. - Provide exceptional customer service to executives, frequent travelers, and internal stakeholders. Qualifications - 10+ years of recent experience in corporate travel management or travel agency environment. - Strong knowledge of airline fare rules, ticketing, exchanges, and international travel requirements. - Highly skilled in routing, pricing, and split ticketing. - Proficiency with minimum 5 years' recent experience ticketing in GDS systems (SABRE) and online booking tools. - Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills. - Ability to manage multiple itineraries in a fast-paced environment. - High attention to detail and accuracy. - Comfortable working with VIP travelers and confidential information. - Experience supporting executive or complex international travel. - Knowledge of corporate travel policies and expense management. - Familiarity with duty-of-care and risk management practices.
