Role Description Are you a detail-oriented finance professional looking to make a real impact? We’re seeking a Management Accountant to join our dynamic team and play a key role in driving financial performance and strategic decision-making across the business. As our Management Accountant, you’ll be responsible for: - Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts in line with company deadlines - Monitoring financial performance, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities - Supporting budgeting and forecasting cycles - Conducting variance analysis and providing insightful commentary - Partnering with department heads to drive cost control and operational efficiency - Assisting in preparing financial reports and board packs - Ensuring compliance with UK accounting standards and internal controls - Supporting year-end audit processes and liaising with external auditors - Delivering ad hoc analysis and reporting for senior management Qualifications - Qualified or Part-Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) - Proven experience in a management accounting role (UK-based preferred) - Strong Excel skills and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., SAP, Sage, Oracle) - Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities - Clear communicator with the ability to explain financial data to non-finance stakeholders - Highly organised with strong attention to detail - Able to work independently and collaboratively Requirements - Experience in professional services or the legal industry (desirable) Benefits - High levels of flexibility and a great work life balance - A well-rounded remuneration package (which includes private medical insurance, income protection insurance and discounted gym membership, amongst many other benefits) - Opportunities for growth and progression including professional funding - In person and remote social events - Opportunity to get involved in a range of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) activities
