Job Description

Marketing Assistant

Remote Talent LATAM

• Monitor and manage incoming support requests through the shared support inbox. • Create, prioritize, and assign tasks in ClickUp based on client requests and internal needs. • Communicate proactively with clients regarding updates, timelines, and project status. • Coordinate work between contractors and internal team members to ensure projects are completed on time. • Perform basic WordPress content updates and website changes when appropriate. • Maintain organized documentation, credentials, reports, and internal resources. • Support the creation and maintenance of SOPs, workflows, and process documentation. • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and team processes. • Track project progress and ensure deadlines and deliverables are met. • Collaborate closely with leadership to reduce administrative workload and improve overall execution.

Job Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in Project Management, Operations Coordination, Digital Operations, or similar roles.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Experience communicating directly with clients and managing expectations.
  • Familiarity with WordPress environments and the ability to make basic content updates.
  • Experience using project management platforms such as ClickUp, Asana, Trello, or similar tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and adherence to processes and best practices.
  • Experience with Gmail and Google Workspace.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn, grow, and take ownership.
  • Direct experience with ClickUp (Nice to Have).
  • Experience with Google Ads or Meta Ads reporting (Nice to Have).
  • Exposure to PPC or digital marketing environments (Nice to Have).
  • Experience creating SOPs, workflows, and internal documentation (Nice to Have).
  • Previous experience working with U.S.-based agencies or clients (Nice to Have).

Role Description Our client is looking for an experienced Marketing Automation Specialist (GoHighLevel Expert) to take ownership of their marketing automation infrastructure from strategy through execution. This is a highly technical, hands-on role for someone with deep expertise in GoHighLevel (GHL) who can independently build, optimize, and maintain complete marketing funnels across multiple client accounts. The ideal candidate will manage the agency's GoHighLevel platform, create high-converting funnels and landing pages, develop sophisticated email and SMS automation, optimize customer journeys, and implement scalable automation solutions that drive measurable business results. This role works closely with agency leadership and supports a growing portfolio of clients while owning projects with minimal supervision. Key Responsibilities - Own and manage the agency's GoHighLevel account, including client sub-account setup, configuration, maintenance, and optimization. - Design, build, and optimize high-converting sales funnels tailored to each client's customer journey. - Create responsive, conversion-focused landing pages within GoHighLevel. - Build and optimize advanced automation workflows, including lead nurturing, appointment booking, pipeline automation, speed-to-lead, customer reactivation, and follow-up sequences. - Develop, manage, and optimize email and SMS marketing campaigns, including copywriting, sequencing, segmentation, testing, and deliverability. - Continuously monitor and improve funnel performance through conversion rate optimization and automation enhancements. - Manage A2P 10DLC registration and brand/campaign certification to maintain SMS compliance and deliverability. - Create dashboards and reporting systems that provide actionable insights for internal teams and clients. - Integrate GoHighLevel with third-party platforms using Zapier, Make.com, N8N, APIs, and webhooks. - Leverage AI tools to improve workflow efficiency and marketing automation performance. - Troubleshoot automation issues and implement scalable technical solutions. - Translate business goals into effective automation strategies and execute them independently. - Occasionally participate in client meetings to provide technical recommendations and automation expertise. Qualifications - 5+ years of hands-on experience in marketing automation. - Deep expertise with GoHighLevel (GHL), including: - Agency account management. - Funnel development. - Landing page creation. - Workflow automation. - CRM configuration. - Email and SMS marketing. - Reporting dashboards. - Proven experience building, optimizing, and managing complete marketing funnels from strategy through execution. - Hands-on experience completing A2P 10DLC registration and brand/campaign approval. - Strong experience creating and optimizing high-performing email and SMS marketing campaigns, including copywriting and automation strategy. - Experience building reporting dashboards and performance analytics. - Experience with automation platforms such as N8N, Zapier, and Make.com. - Working knowledge of additional CRM and marketing automation platforms such as HubSpot, ActiveCampaign, Klaviyo, or similar. - Familiarity with AI tools and their practical application within marketing automation. - Strong understanding of customer journey mapping, lead nurturing, and conversion optimization. - Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills. - Excellent written and verbal English communication skills. - Self-motivated, proactive, organized, and able to manage projects independently. Preferred Qualifications - Previous experience working within a digital marketing agency supporting multiple client accounts. - Experience with API integrations and webhooks. - Understanding of paid media, SEO, websites, and broader digital marketing strategies. - Comfortable participating in occasional client meetings when technical expertise is needed.
