Barcelona Wine Bar
• Managing all aspects of new construction, major renovations, and development projects • Creating and reviewing all GC contracts, applications for payment, and change orders • Create standard operating procedures for construction • Interacting and coordinating with senior leadership, construction professionals and all vendors • Solicit proposals from vendors and contractors, review against company standards • Working closely with development department and on-site General Contractor • Developing and managing: RFPs for professional services and Owner provided vendors • Helping with creation of bid estimates for complete costs-to-build • Collecting bid packages to review, compare and quantify bidding subcontractors • Interact with and support design, construction, facilities, and operations departments • Establish project processes and procedures by collaborating with in-house design team and consultants as well as contractors • Assist in site assessment: building feasibilities • Coordinate with local municipal and utility companies • Review lease terms • Review construction documents • Oversee construction budget, schedule, material, procurement and quality controls during construction
Job Requirements
- 10+ years of experience with construction proposals and bidding
- Restaurant GC, Retail construction or Restaurant construction background preferred but not required
- Hospitality experience strongly preferred but not required
- Associates Degree in Architecture, Construction, or related field preferred but not required
