Role Description Our dynamic sales team is growing and we are looking to add an experienced Senior Director of Strategic Accounts to join some of the brightest and most passionate professionals in the industry. This is a fully remote position but it does require national travel to client sites. - Manage 1-2 large account relationships including stakeholder management, driving balanced growth, and identifying partnership and cross-sell opportunities. - Own overall strategic growth plan for accounts and manage internal and customer stakeholders to drive alignment and execution on plan. - Develop and execute sales strategy for overall territory/market segment. - Deliver compelling demonstrations that display the product’s value proposition. - Identify prospects, build pipeline, and conduct effective, consultative and discovery meetings with prospects to assess needs and understand their process and existing systems. - Work in close coordination with executive management and other internal teams (Marketing, SDRs, Customer Success). Qualifications - BA or BS degree from college or university. - 10+ years' experience successfully running the full sales cycle (cold call to close) of a complex SaaS solution. - Experience selling software into VPs of Clinical Development, VP Clinical Operations, Clinical Trial Leaders, CROs, and CxOs of life sciences companies that conduct clinical research. - Proven record of exceeding revenue targets, including routinely achieving 7-figure annual sales goals. - Experience with native SaaS solutions, and their unique value relative to on-premise solutions. - Interpersonal and presentation skills (including video/web presentation). Requirements - This is a remote position with travel requirements up to 40%. - The expected pay range for this role is $140,000 - $190,000 USD per year for full time team members. • Delivery & Roadmap Execution: Own the tactical execution of the engineering roadmap. Partner with Product and Design to break down product requirements into clear milestones, ensuring the team consistently ships high-quality software on time. • Hands-on Architectural Guidance: Unblock engineering teams by participating in technical design reviews. Ensure the team builds a stable, scalable platform that successfully ingests and processes complex clinical trial data sources without technical debt. • Feature & Tooling Implementation: Drive the day-to-day development of predictive models and analytics tools. Work directly with data and software engineers to ensure these tools accurately surface trial bottlenecks and function reliably for end-user. • Sprint & Resource Management: Manage sprint capacity, budget tracking, and day-to-day resource allocation. Balance technical debt with feature delivery to maximize engineering velocity and keep data collection timelines on track. • Agile Process Optimization: Run, refine, and optimize the agile ceremonies and development workflows within your department. Identify and eliminate operational friction to improve the team's daily shipping cadence. • Line Management & Career Mentorship: Manage Engineering Managers and Tech Leads directly. Conduct regular 1-on-1s, deliver performance reviews, write career growth plans, and actively interview and onboard new engineering hires. • Team Health & Collaboration: Maintain a high-performing, inclusive team culture. Resolve interpersonal or cross-team friction and ensure clear communication boundaries between engineering squads. • Cross-Functional Execution: Serve as the primary technical point of contact for project stakeholders. Translate technical blockers, updates, and risks into clear operational timelines for non-technical partners.

• Lead and manage the GRC and Security Engineering teams, including strategy, objectives, staffing, coaching, and performance management. • Own governance, risk, and compliance programs. Maintain ISO 27001 and related controls. Drive audit readiness for HIPAA and other frameworks. Coordinate policy lifecycle management and control testing. • Run vendor assessment and qualification program. Oversee third party risk management, due diligence, contractual security requirements, and continuous monitoring. • Provide AI related security assessments and guidance. Establish acceptable use guardrails for AI, assess model and data risks, and advise on controls for AI enabled solutions. • Oversee security architecture for cloud environments and enterprise platforms. Partner with engineering on secure design for AWS, Azure, identity, network, and data protection. • Direct security engineering operations. Manage EDR and threat detection with CrowdStrike, SIEM operations, CSPM posture management, vulnerability management, and SOAR automation. • Lead incident response readiness and execution. Run tabletop exercises, coordinate investigations, and deliver root cause and lessons learned. • Own and manage security budgets, multiyear planning, vendor contracts, and cost optimization while meeting control objectives. • Report program status and risk posture to executives and the board. Define and track KPIs and KRIs. Communicate clearly with technical and non technical stakeholders. • Establish and enforce secure software development practices and SDLC controls with engineering leadership. • Maintain a current security roadmap and maturity plan aligned to business priorities. • Oversee metrics, dashboards, and reporting for program performance and risk reduction. • Coordinate with Legal, Privacy, and Compliance on regulatory obligations and customer security assessments. • Champion security awareness training and culture, sponsor targeted training for engineering and high risk roles. • Evaluate, select, and manage strategic security vendors and platforms, drive successful implementations and integrations. • Represent security in customer meetings and due diligence, provide credible technical and compliance answers.

• Lead and support customer security audits, responding to security questionnaires and demonstrating compliance with security frameworks. • Prepare, coordinate, and manage ISO 27001 audits, including evidence collection, control implementation, and auditor engagement. • Ensure ongoing compliance with HIPAA, NIST CSF, and other regulatory requirements applicable to healthcare data security. • Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and security documentation to meet regulatory and contractual obligations. • Perform gap analyses and risk assessments to identify and remediate compliance risks. • Manage and improve security governance frameworks, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and business objectives. • Conduct third-party vendor risk assessments, ensuring compliance with security policies and contractual obligations. • Monitor security controls, ensuring effectiveness and continuous improvement in alignment with security frameworks. • Support security awareness training initiatives, ensuring employees understand compliance responsibilities. • Stay current on ISO 27001, HIPAA, NIST 800-53, and other relevant standards, translating them into actionable security controls. • Assist in defining security metrics and reporting on compliance status and risk posture to leadership. • Work closely with legal, security, IT, and business teams to align compliance requirements with security operations.

• Manage all aspects of Salesforce user access, license security, and data governance while executing proactive maintenance and security reviews to ensure that StudyTeam remains a highly scalable, performant platform for our future • Drive declarative platform enhancements, process automation, and operational escalation workflows to successfully launch and scale Care Access products across our internal teams • Configure and optimize Service Cloud and Experience Cloud features, utilizing tools like Omni-Channel routing, macros, and customer self-service portals to maximize agent productivity and customer success • Develop and maintain custom Apex, Triggers, and Lightning Web Components while designing secure REST/SOAP API integrations with external systems to eliminate technical debt and maximize scalability • Oversee end-to-end data quality control and migrations while providing comprehensive internal user support, documentation, and training to ensure seamless platform onboarding • Design, implement, and manage secure integrations and API connections between Salesforce and external business systems or third-party applications • Own the technical configuration and cross-cloud journey architecture of SFMC and Pardot, utilizing SQL, AMPScript, and Journey Builder to optimize data flows and support the revenue pipeline • Design and implement entitlement management frameworks, strict service level agreements (SLAs), and operational escalation processes within the platform

• Requirements Definition & Backlog Management: Deliver the Core Artifacts, Maintain the Backlog, Roadmap Slicing. • Feature Validation & QA Coordination: Functional Validation, Defect Triage, UAT Support. • Release Tracking & Communication: Schedule Ownership, Stakeholder Updates, Rollout Preparation, Cross-Team Communication. • Compliance & Operational Metrics: GxP Alignment, Performance Monitoring.

• As a Senior Engineering Manager you may be expected to code, however, you will still be reviewing code and ensuring our engineers are making good design decisions. • Drive and review technical designs, ensuring solutions are scalable, reliable, secure, and aligned with long-term platform goals. • Lead a constantly improving agile engineering process. You must have a strong sense of ownership for your deliverables and milestones. • Help product feature teams to accelerate product feature development by building capabilities that simplify OneStudyTeam architecture and by reducing technical debt. • Ensure the team delivers consistently and predictably through effective planning, prioritization, and stakeholder communication. • Manage, mentor, and grow a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement. • Recruit and hire engineers consistent with organizational values. • Manage an engineering team of up to 5 engineers. • Experience with our stack is not required. We use: ReactJS, Javascript, Typescript, Clojure, AWS, Postgres, Kafka, Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker and Git.

• Lead security certification & audit readiness (ISO 27001 / SOC 2). • Operate the ISMS controls program. • Evidence management & auditor response. • Risk management program execution. • Metrics, reporting, and stakeholder enablement. • Manage periodic reviews and updates of security policies and procedures. • Partner with an outsourced/internal audit function to validate control performance. • Support cross-functional education and adoption of security requirements.
