Role Description The Financial Reporting Professional 2 prepares and distributes periodic financial statements for users other than those directly employed by our organization. Reporting to the Financial Reporting Lead, your assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action. - Ensures all reports and disclosures comply with applicable government regulations, professional standards, and organization policies. - Prepares consolidation journal entries and eliminates intercompany transactions. - Consolidates divisional and subsidiary financial accounts to provide an accurate basis for inclusion in internal and external financial statements. - Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating goals, including their linkages to related areas. - Makes decisions regarding your own work methods and receives guidance where needed.
