Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (MBA or CPA strongly preferred) - 5+ years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, including 3+ years in leadership - Proven success in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling - Experience implementing scalable systems and automation in growing organizations - Strong knowledge of GAAP, compliance, and tax standards - Proficiency with tools such as Xero, QuickBooks, or advanced Excel/Google Sheets - Excellent analytical and communication skills; you turn complexity into clarity - Experience in e-commerce or multi-channel retail (preferred) - Collaborative mindset and the confidence to influence executive-level decisions Requirements - Deliver accurate, audit-ready financials by the 20th of each month with full account reconciliation and zero material errors - Build and maintain a 12-month rolling cash forecast, updated weekly, ensuring perfect liquidity and visibility - Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process across all departments with ≤10% variance between forecast and actual results - Develop automated systems and workflows that reduce manual reporting time by at least 25% within your first year - Partner with leadership to implement initiatives that increase profitability and improve EBITDA by 2 percentage points in your first 12 months - Create and document SOPs for close, forecasting, cash flow, and reporting processes - Implement new systems for expense management, travel, and purchasing by Month 6 - Produce insightful financial dashboards and KPIs that drive better decision-making - Partner cross-functionally with Product, Sales, and Operations to align growth, cash flow, and inventory planning - Evaluate technology solutions (ERP, reporting tools) that prepare the company for scale Benefits - Remote-first environment with flexible hours - Direct collaboration with the CEO and leadership team - Autonomy and trust in how you structure your work - Paid time off and holidays - Learning opportunities and leadership development support - Access to Hadley Designs products for your family - A decade of stability and growth as a family-founded, purpose-driven brand
