Supply Chain Planning Specialist – Level 1
Northrop Grumman
• Responsible for supporting Procurement commodity teams with various supply chain related tasks • Interface with Suppliers for Purchase Order delivery status and oversight that includes but is not limited to sending Weekly Open Order Report to Suppliers • Maintain current Purchase Order delivery dates • Provide status to other functions for Program visibility • Request and track part milestone schedule and close out any administrative Purchase Order actions • Conduct and lead Weekly/Bi-Weekly status meetings with Suppliers and other Global Supply Chain functions • Interface and collaborate with Buyer, Programs and other organizations within and outside of Global Supply Chain • Ability to plan schedule and arrange activities to accomplish objectives
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field; in lieu of degree an additional 4+ years of experience will be considered
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Experience within the Aerospace or Aviation industry preferred
- Experience with FAR/DFAR preferred
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP
