Role Description We’re looking for a full-time Senior Strategic Corporate Finance Partner to join our FP&A team reporting to the Director of Finance. This role is a remote role based in the United States. In this role, you’ll play a key role in driving data-backed financial strategy and decision-making by delivering financial modeling, insightful analyses, and interpreting key business and financial trends to guide company growth. The ideal candidate brings strong skills in financial modeling, data analysis, strategic thinking, and is expected to operate with a high degree of independence. What You'll Do - Support Company-Wide Planning & Forecasting: - Play a critical role in Gainsight's annual operating plan (AOP), long-range plan (LRP), and quarterly re-forecast cycles. - Partner cross-functionally with department heads to set targets, pressure-test assumptions, and ensure financial plans are grounded in business reality. - Own revenue and cash flow forecasting end-to-end, continuously refining models to improve accuracy and timeliness. - Own the 5-Year Strategic Plan: - Serve as the primary steward of Gainsight's long-range financial model. - Translate qualitative strategic initiatives into quantitative financial outcomes, stress-test scenarios, and present a compelling narrative to senior leadership, the board. - Deliver Executive & Board-Level Reporting: - Prepare and present monthly and quarterly financial performance packages for the executive team and Board of Directors. - Identify key variances from plan, explain the "why" behind trends, and recommend corrective actions where needed. - Support Investor Relations & M&A: - Assist in preparing Board decks, Vista Equity Partners reporting, and industry benchmarking analyses. - Contribute to financial due diligence, target modeling, and integration planning when M&A opportunities arise. - Integrate AI Into the Finance Function: - Champion the use of AI tools and automation to improve the speed, accuracy, and scalability of FP&A processes. Qualifications - 8+ years of progressive FP&A or strategic finance experience in high-growth or dynamic environments; investment banking or experience at a private equity owned software company a plus. - Demonstrated command of full-statement financials, including balance sheet and cash flow dynamics, alongside deep familiarity with SaaS-specific metrics such as ARR, NRR, and gross retention. - Advanced financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to independently see issues through to resolution. - Self-driven and detail-oriented with an extreme ownership mentality. - Best-in-class attention to detail and unwavering commitment to accuracy. - Strong enthusiasm and/or experience with artificial intelligence and integrating into finance functions. - Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or related discipline. Benefits - The starting base salary range for this role is $140,000-$180,000 USD annually.
