Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3–5+ years of relevant experience in development operations, CRM management, or related technical/operational roles
- Advanced proficiency in Raiser’s Edge NXT; administrator-level capability preferred
- Strong working knowledge of CRM systems, data governance, and fundraising operations
- Experience with financial reconciliation processes
- Proficiency in reporting and data analysis; ability to interpret and communicate insights
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and processes with minimal supervision
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively across teams

Role Description This Peer Specialist position may only be filled with a Veteran that meets statutory requirements that are detailed in the qualifications section. This position is part of the Veterans Crisis Line (VCL), which is a 24-hour, 7-days-a-week service aimed at connecting callers worldwide to a caring, qualified VA employee. The VCL's mission is to provide 24/7, world-class suicide prevention and crisis intervention services to Veterans, Service Members, and their family members. The Peer Specialist functions as an interdisciplinary team member, assisting physicians and other professional/non-professional personnel in a rehabilitation treatment program. Peer specialists perform a variety of therapeutic and supportive tasks, including: - Assisting Veterans in articulating their goals for recovery and personal wellness. - Learning and practicing new skills. - Helping Veterans monitor their progress. - Modeling effective coping techniques and self-help strategies based on their own recovery experience. - Supporting Veterans in advocating for themselves to obtain effective services.
