Health Benefits Sales Executive
Leading Edge Administrators

Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in business, healthcare administration, related field or equivalent experience
- 5+ years proven success in exceeding business sales goals in health benefits, preferable in self-funded, ASO markets
- Active required industry licensing or ability to obtain and maintain; license needed within 90 days of hire with company support
- Strong working knowledge of benefits insurance (broker or carrier side) as well as self-funding and stop loss reinsurance market
- Experience explaining third-party, self-insured benefits to include medical, and flexible spending accounts, minimum essential coverage and other ancillary products including types of stop loss insurance
- Knowledge of methods for promoting sales or services; negotiation and presentation skills including RFP/RFI responses, financial analysis, underwriting collaboration and contract negotiations
- Ability to create, present and close on marketing plans
- Ability to travel frequently, to client or prospect sites is required
- Must have reliable transportation means; a valid driver’s license may be required
- Solid working knowledge of standard computer applications including MS Word, Excel Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Communicate clearly and professionally with internal and external customers
- Work effectively as part of a team to achieve established outcomes.
