• Spend 3–4 days per week conducting structured ride-alongs with sales representatives to coach them on clinical messaging, relationship management, and advanced sales techniques. • Produce a formal ride-along review immediately following each field session to be placed in the representative’s employee file. • Attend lunches, after-hours networking functions, health fairs, and clinical "In-services" coordinated by reps to drive product adoption among healthcare staff. • Provide daily tactical support, operational direction, and localized territory management for assigned field reps. • Establish clear performance goals and quotas for sales representatives (pending final approval from the Regional Manager & VP of Sales). • Analyze field performance metrics, including VGM metrics, pipeline velocity, and account penetration, to identify market opportunities and performance gaps. • Enforce strict CRM compliance and data integrity to ensure accurate local pipeline visibility and activity tracking. • Conduct targeted weekly conference calls with underperforming reps; author and execute formal action/performance improvement plans (PIPs) as needed. • Conduct comprehensive Monthly and Quarterly Performance Reviews for all assigned sales representatives. • Participate in the interview and vetting process for new sales representatives as requested. • Facilitate training for new hires and provide targeted support during their initial onboarding phase. • Assist and participate in the termination process for underperforming representatives when required. • Help Regional Manager & VP of Sales plan, organize, and execute team-wide sales meetings and contribute to weekly team conference calls. • Serve as the direct line of contact for localized account issues, billing discrepancies, or customer service friction, resolving conflicts before escalating to upper management. • Ensure all daily field activities strictly adhere to corporate compliance policies and healthcare industry regulatory standards. • Promptly escalate high-level issues that cannot be resolved at the local level to the Regional Sales Manager. • Additional duties to be assigned by VP of Sales and/or CEO.
• Present and sell company products and services to current and potential clients. • Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and to project the number of contacts to be made. • Prepare a variety of status reports, including activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals. • Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff. • Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity. • Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned. • Prepare presentations, proposals and sales contracts. • Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge. • Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships. • Participate in marketing events such as seminars and trade shows. • Coordinate with company staff to accomplish the work required to close sales. • Other duties as assigned.

Director of Payer Relations – Contracting

• Develop and execute national and regional strategies to expand payer contracts and optimize network participation. • Negotiate favorable contract terms, reimbursement rates, and value-based arrangements with commercial and government payers. • Evaluate new network opportunities and maintain optimal in-network positioning. • Analyze payer contracts to assess financial performance, reimbursement structures, and compliance requirements. • Identify opportunities to improve margins, reduce administrative burden, and enhance contract terms. • Partner with finance and operations teams to model contract performance and support strategic decision-making. • Track and monitor all contract activity across assigned markets. • Build and maintain strong relationships with payer executives and network management teams. • Serve as the primary liaison between the organization and payer partners. • Lead payer meetings, presentations, and high-level negotiations. • Collaborate with revenue cycle management (RCM), billing, and operations teams to identify trends in denials, underpayments, and reimbursement discrepancies. • Lead cross-functional initiatives to resolve payment issues and improve collections. • Ensure compliance with third-party reimbursement requirements and documentation standards. • Develop and update managed care strategies in collaboration with operational leaders, including defined goals, objectives, and performance tracking. • Monitor market trends, regulatory changes, and competitive dynamics within the post-acute care industry. • Support mergers and acquisitions by assessing payer contracts and integration strategies. • Report payer relations activity and progress to senior leadership on a regular basis. • Ensure proper documentation and tracking of expenses and reimbursement requests. • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive payer and organizational information.
• Ability to read and understand medical terminology • Review clinical documentation to ensure compliance with Medicare guidelines • Verify payor source and insurance eligibility • Validate ICD-9/10 codes as appropriate for product dispensed • Ability to apply correct modifier and HCPCS to claims • Submit accurate claims utilizing Brightree billing software • Reconcile billing errors on a daily basis • Complete CMS 1500 claim forms as required • Manage account receivables to maintain payments within 90 days • Adhere to monthly closing timeline requirements • Maintain excellent communication with company management and co-workers • Attendance at all meetings, conference calls, etc. at the discretion of your manager • Maintain compliance with all federal, state and local government regulations and agencies • Other duties as assigned by manager
