Folding Carton Packaging Sales Executive
Mill Rock Packaging
• Proactively identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities in the folding carton paperboard space • Build a book of business through networking, industry relationships, and consultative selling • Develop trusted advisor relationships with prospects and customers • Lead sales meetings (virtual and in-person) from discovery through close • Present, propose, and negotiate solutions that align customer needs with MRP’s capabilities • Partner closely with operations, estimating, and other internal teams to deliver on customer commitments • Attend and represent MRP at industry events, trade shows, and conferences • Track and report pipeline activity, sales results, and forecasts • Continuously evaluate and refine your sales strategies to improve performance
Job Requirements
- 5–10+ years of progressive B2B sales experience
- Direct experience selling folding carton / paperboard packaging
- Proven success building and managing a book of business from the ground up
- Consultative sales approach with the ability to sell complex, value-driven solutions
- Strong relationship-building and influencing skills
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets
- Comfortable analyzing data, metrics, and customer insights to inform decisions
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal direction
- Willingness to travel within your region and occasionally nationally
