Role Description As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will act as a clinical expert supporting healthcare professionals, equipment providers, care organizations, and clients throughout Ireland. You will provide specialist seating assessments, clinical guidance, product training, and strategic support to help ensure individuals receive the most appropriate postural solutions to maximise function, comfort, and independence. Key Responsibilities - Conduct specialist seating and postural assessments for individuals with complex clinical needs and provide written reports and recommendations. - Provide expert clinical recommendations relating to seating, positioning, pressure care, and mobility as queries arise. - Support Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Case Managers, and healthcare teams with product selection and prescription. - Deliver joint visits, demonstrations, and clinical consultations with HSE OT's and product specialists. - Develop and deliver educational webinars, workshops, training sessions, and CPD events. - Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, community services, hospitals, and care providers. - Support product development and innovation by providing clinical insight and market feedback. - Represent Accora at conferences, exhibitions, and professional events. - Contribute to clinical resources, best practice guidance, and educational content. - Work collaboratively with commercial and customer support teams to ensure exceptional customer experiences. Qualifications - Degree or MSc in Occupational Therapy. - Current registration with CORU. - Minimum 5 years' post-qualification experience. - Significant experience in seating, postural management, and complex equipment provision. - Strong understanding of pressure care, positioning, and 24-hour postural management. - Experience working in community services, complex disability, rehabilitation, neuro-rehabilitation, or specialist seating services. - Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills. - Full clean driving licence and willingness to travel throughout Ireland including occasional overnight stays. - Occasional travel to the UK required. Desirable - Advanced clinical knowledge in specialist seating assessments. - Experience delivering professional education and training. - Further education in the areas of postural care. - Experience working with assistive technology, complex rehabilitation equipment, or seating manufacturers. - Membership of AOTI and/or relevant specialist interest groups.
