Title: IT Analyst Location: Moon Township, PA or Beachwood, OH Job Description: Eaton's Corporate Sector division is currently seeking a IT Analyst. The expected annual salary range for this role is $56000 - $83000 a year. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. What you'll do: Provides IT account administration support on Eaton's IT systems and applications for Eaton and non-Eaton personnel. Ensures this work is completed within the established guidelines and requirements of Eaton Corporation IT Security and various compliance policies. Receives a moderate level of guidance and direction and work is reviewed on a regular basis. Job Responsibilities - Works within established processes to perform account administrative functions to set up appropriate security access, working with leadership for exceptions. - Analyzes, diagnoses, and repairs basic to intermediate malfunctioning account administration issues. - Reviews Corporate policies and standards regularly and ensures compliance with all such guidelines. - Interacts directly with internal/external customers and maintains the highest degree of customer service while instructing users in a one-on-one role on IT security and account administration concepts and guidelines practiced by Eaton. - Maintains accurate issue and resolution information within the service desk database. - Contributes to the base of IT knowledge through documenting and updating existing internal procedures. - Participates in supporting IT projects conducted within their area of responsibility. - Performs any other duties as directed by management. Resolves fairly similar problems which require some fact finding, clarification, and basic analysis. Most solutions will be found within normal operating processes and policies. Occasionally, requires basic problem-solving techniques to define problems and identify solutions. Qualifications: Basic (required) Qualifications: - Associate degree or high school diploma with at least two (2) years IT experience - Minimum of two (2) years practical experience in customer service, and in data processing or technical information technology. - No relocation is offered for this position. All candidates must currently reside within 50 miles of Moon Township, PA or Beachwood, OH. - This position requires use of information or access to hardware which may be subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. ''Green Card Holder''), Political Asylee, or Refugee. - Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship both now and in the future Preferred Qualifications: - ITIL knowledge/certification IT Specific Technical Knowledge - Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite - Intermediate knowledge of Active Directory. - Intermediate knowledge of Ticketing tools. - Prior experience with manual provisioning/account maintenance (basic to intermediate) Skills: Soft skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required. - Analytical, systematic approach to problem recognition and resolution required. - Ability to effectively work while under pressure. - Ability to work within a global team environment, establishing and maintaining working relationships of a remote nature - Conveys basic information and may need to clarify information and aid understanding.
