Escalation Technician

• Field incoming escalated requests from end users via both telephone and e-mail in a courteous manner. • Document in our ticketing system all pertinent end user identification information, including name, department, contact information, and nature of problem or issue. • Prioritize and schedule problems. • Record, track, and document the help desk request problem-solving process, including all successful and unsuccessful decisions made, and actions taken, through to final resolution within our ticketing system and where appropriate our knowledgebase system. • Identify and learn appropriate software and hardware used and supported by the organization. • Perform remote fixes at the desktop level, including installing and upgrading software, implementing file backups, and configuring systems and applications. • Perform post-resolution follow-ups to help requests.
Job Requirements
- At least three years of experience in Windows Server administration such as Active Directory, and Remote Desktop Services
- Experience with networking including switches, wireless networks, VPNm DNS, DHCP, VLANs
- Must have previous MSP experience

• Install caulk into joints using a bulk caulk gun, pulling product out of buckets, using “sausage” tubes, or standard tubes. • Inspect joints to make sure they are sound, and that all joint filler material has been removed, and size is acceptable. • Joints requiring it will be packed with backer rod to ensure proper joint depth, eliminate three side adhesion, and provide a sound backing to tool against. • Must be able to operate and work on a forklift, boom lift and/or scissor lift. • If required, joint primer is applied using a spatula type knife of proper size, smoothing sealant to match masonry mortar joints. • When using self-leveling products, use compatible material to “dam” ends, penetrations, and holes, so that the material remains in the joint. • Mix material when required utilizing a drill and mixing paddle. Specific care and precautions are to be taken when working with these solvent type materials.
