Senior Technician – Repower

• Work independently to perform all mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, and retrofit activities. • Serve as the work scope or team leader for their respective work team. • Develop and maintain excellent customer relationships. • Lead mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic component installation, troubleshooting and repair. • Monitor and inspect work to ensure compliance with technical specifications and quality standards. • Mentor and guide junior technicians, providing on-the-job training, technical support, and performance feedback.
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 5+ years’ experience as a Wind Turbine Technician.
- Valid driver’s license (NON-CDL or CDL).
- Ability to read and interpret documents.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Confidence to stop the job when things don’t seem right or may be unsafe.
- Must be able to pass a physical exam and drug/alcohol screening.
- Capable of lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds.
- Must be physically fit enough to freely climb 300 ft multiple times a day while wearing 25+ lbs. of climbing gear.
