SaaS and EA Quoting Specialist
Presidio
• Support the sales process by accurately and efficiently producing customer-facing quotes for all SaaS and EA and related product lines • Act as the subject matter expert on quote creation, special pricing, internal and OEM approvals, and resolution of quoting issues and sales escalations • Engage with sales team members to ensure that deliverables are structured in alignment with specific customer requirements • Gain expertise in the area of pricing models and discount structures for SaaS and EA product offerings • Ensure that quotes and proposals include all related terms, conditions and agreements • Maintain complete ownership of a quote through the entire sales lifecycle of the opportunity including all revisions and updates • Comply with internal quote process workflows to ensure that quotes are reviewed and approved prior to delivery to customer • Recommend alternative procurement options for the customer quote including financing, pre-paid offerings, etc. and ensure that approved pricing and payment options are leveraged appropriately • Work in conjunction with sales and operations to ensure proper selection of vendor and billing accounts for all transactions • Identify and communicate opportunities to improve quoting and related processes
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in quoting, sales operations, or a related field
- Associates degree or equivalent experience and/or military experience
- Working knowledge of revenue recognition principles and SaaS/subscription sales cycles
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (especially Excel and Word) and online quoting/sales platforms
- Understanding of IT infrastructure and enterprise solution providers
- Experience working with SaaS, cloud, or subscription-based products is highly desirable
- Strong grasp of the end-to-end sales process, particularly within the enterprise technology space
- Exceptional attention to detail and organization skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with accuracy and consistency
- Strong customer service mindset and ability to communicate clearly and effectively across departments and organization levels
- Self-starter with high levels of ownership, initiative, adaptability, and problem-solving capabilities.
