Data Integration Specialist
Coface
• Work closely with data stakeholders, product teams, and technology partners to deliver trusted, high-quality, and compliant data across the organization • Work internationally with internal and external data providers, handling global data across a range of disparate formats, including APIs and batch processing • Document, develop, and maintain end-to-end data mappings from international third-party providers, integrating their information into our ecosystem • Participate in user acceptance testing and validation of data integration processes • Partner with technical teams (business analysts, IT teams) to support effective data integration, and with the business to drive understanding of the data consistent with its use by the business • Communicate with data providers, ensuring clarity and comprehensiveness of the data integrated • Maintain consistent, technically accurate communication with all internal and external stakeholders • In collaboration with technical teams, investigate ingestion failures and escalate persistent problems with full documentation • Monitor data ingestion performance • Ensure documentation of mapping process, test results and contribute to continuous improvement of the process
Job Requirements
- Proven experience creating and maintaining detailed data mappings in a BtoB environment
- Practical knowledge or academic degree in understanding financial statements, and assessing creditworthiness of companies
- Strong communication skills to convey complex data concepts clearly to both technical and business audiences
- Excellent proficiency in English is required; proficiency in an additional language is considered an asset
- Experience with commercial business information, including a solid understanding of international and local financial standards
- Experience working with data from disparate global sources in a variety of formats, such as APIs and batch processing
- Hands-on experience with JSON and XSLT, translating structures into pseudocode for transformation and integration
- Experience collaborating internationally with external third-party data vendors
- Background in business information services industry
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (e.g. GDPR)
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
- Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and validation
- Working knowledge of data ownership principles and experience operating within data ownership and stewardship frameworks
