ADDITIONAL JOB DETAILS: This position supports a clinical research study funded by the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS) Superfund Research Program (SRP). The prospective study examines relationships between chemical exposures and health outcomes in adults residing in Glynn County, Georgia. The Research Project Manager will play a central role in the day-to-day operations of the cohort and will work as an integrated member of a multidisciplinary research team that includes exposure scientists, epidemiologists, community engagement specialists, and community partners. The role requires an exceptional level or organization and willingness to work independently and proactively. - Coordinating and supporting study visits with research participants, including participant scheduling, informed consent processes, biological specimen collection logistics, and data quality monitoring across longitudinal time points. - Conducting regular travel to Glynn County, Georgia to support field operations, maintain relationships with community partners, and ensure smooth execution of study protocols at local clinical and community sites. Emory University School of Medicine’s Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences is seeking a full-time Radiologist to read evening emergency department and inpatient work. Position opening is for expansion due to increased volume, and eligible for remote work. - This evening position rotates 1 week on (7 days, 9-hour shift, 6p-3am) and 2 weeks off (inclusive of recovery, vacation, CME, academic). This equates to 121 clinical shifts per year. - 17 weeks of remote clinical evenings per year! Remote from anywhere in the USA except New Jersey, Hawaii, or Alaska. - This evening radiologist will focus their clinical care exclusively at one of the Southeast’s busiest Level 1 trauma centers (Grady Memorial Hospital), providing interpretations in conjunction with trainees. - The primary clinical scope will involve chest and abdominal imaging. Although the scope can be 100% abdominal and chest imaging, candidates will be able to read other emergency imaging exams if preferred. - A separate evening neuroradiologist would be responsible for neuroradiology work. - Candidates should possess strong clinical skills, highly function in the fast-paced, time-sensitive emergency setting, and work well in a collaborative environment. - Candidates should be prepared to participate in both the clinical and non-clinical divisional activities, including education and trainee supervision. - There are opportunities for additional extra duty clinical work for additional salary if desired. Qualifications - Applicants must be ABR Board-certified/eligible and eligible to obtain an unrestricted Georgia medical license. - Candidates with subspecialty training or emergency imaging experience are desired. - Faculty rank will be commensurate with experience and accomplishments.
