Data Center Project Specialist
ABB
• Work closely with Project Managers to coordinate high demand projects within U.S. Data Center Services. • Support execution of project activities to ensure on-time delivery within project budget and operating model. • Conduct analysis of plan versus actual project performance. • Monitor and release requests for invoicing, including follow up on delays, errors, etc. • Support coordination of various administrative tasks, ensuring proper documentation and follow up via email, SharePoint, and Project Management software. • Meet internal and customer driven SLAs and response times, ensuring proactive engagement across all assigned projects. • Assist project manager with scheduling kickoff and recurring meetings with stakeholders. • Troubleshoot and resolve coordination and/or administrative concerns. • Act as backup support to project manager on weekly calls. • Review project plans to ensure that site safety and integrity topics are identified and addressed prior to project commencement.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Combination of higher education and relevant work experience highly preferred.
- 3+ years of project support experience required.
- CAPM certification or PMP highly preferred.
- 2+ years experience in Electrical-based project management or project support highly preferred.
- Current experience with Microsoft Office Suite required, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Microsoft Project Planner a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
- Ability to work across all U.S. based time zones as needed.
- Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
