Role Description The Solution Architect – SAP Data & Integration is responsible for designing and managing integration solutions between SAP systems and external platforms. The role ensures secure, scalable, and high-performance data flows while aligning with SAP Clean Core and cloud integration strategies. You will work closely with product teams, developers, and business stakeholders to deliver effective integration solutions. Key Responsibilities - Integration Architecture: - Design end-to-end integration solutions for SAP and non-SAP systems - Define best practices using SAP BTP Integration Suite, SAP CPI, APIs, and event-driven architecture - Establish integration patterns for real-time and batch processing - Ensure alignment with SAP Clean Core principles - SAP Data Integration: - Design scalable solutions for data extraction, transformation, and replication - Define integration models for S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, and external systems - Develop data services using APIs, OData, and messaging frameworks - Technical Governance: - Define integration standards, naming conventions, and data models - Review and approve solution designs - Ensure compliance with security, performance, and scalability requirements - API Strategy: - Promote API-first integration approach - Develop reusable APIs and services - Manage API lifecycle including versioning and monitoring - Solution Delivery Support: - Guide development teams on integration design and implementation - Support complex integrations and troubleshooting - Ensure high-quality delivery of solutions - Performance & Optimization: - Optimize integration flows for performance and cost efficiency - Identify and resolve bottlenecks in data pipelines - Stakeholder Collaboration: - Work with product owners, SAP teams, and partners - Translate business requirements into scalable solutions - Support strategic SAP integration initiatives Qualifications - Minimum 5 years of experience in integration, implementation, or technical solution roles - Strong experience with APIs, system integrations, and data mapping - Experience with SAP data extraction and replication tools - Familiarity with SAP BTP Integration Suite and SAP CPI - Strong understanding of data pipelines and system interoperability - Ability to troubleshoot complex integration and data flow issues KPIs - Architecture & Standards: - >95% compliance with integration standards - Adoption of reusable APIs and integration patterns - Delivery & Implementation: - On-time delivery of integration projects - Reduction in production issues - Performance & Reliability: - >99.5% uptime - Improved integration processing time - Governance & Quality: - High architecture review compliance - Reduction in custom integrations - Innovation: - Increased use of SAP BTP Integration Suite - Growth in reusable APIs - Operational Efficiency: - Faster incident resolution - Increased automation in deployment and monitoring
