GMT/Blanket Technician
NANA Construction, LLC
• Works on construction projects, usually working in utility capacity, by transferring from one task to another where demands require a worker with varied experience and ability to work without close supervision by performing the following duties. • Loading and unloading tools or raw materials. • Proficient at erecting scaffolding or other pieces of equipment. • Knowledge of the use of air bags for lifting pipes in rack. • Cuts and strips/install insulation on piping. • Other related duties may be assigned.
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma, preferred, or GED equivalent.
- Minimum one (1) year directly related remote experience in the construction or oil & gas industry.
- Insulation blanket/sewing experience in construction industry required.
- Driver’s License and an acceptable driving record for the past three (3) years to be eligible under company vehicle insurance policy.
- Must be able to pass 40hr OSHA Asbestos Mitigation.
- Must be able to pass fit test to wear a respirator.

• Responds to service calls to evaluate, diagnose, and perform repair and planned maintenance (PM) on customers' basic biomedical equipment. • Drives customer satisfaction through service excellence. • Under supervision, evaluate basic customer biomedical equipment issues, implement appropriate repairs, and as assigned, perform PM and safety/environmental inspections. • May assist more experienced technicians on basic and more complex repairs/resolution. • Effectively communicate and partner with teammates and colleagues. • Follow appropriate GE policies, procedures, hospital protocol, and complete necessary documentation. • Maintain daily communications with customers as directed, to ensure resolution and proper follow up, leading to strong customer relations and ongoing customer satisfaction. • Work as a member of local team to provide efficient service delivery to all accounts within the assigned area. • When trained, able to share on-call responsibility. • Document all repair actions and submit reports/summaries according to schedule. • Ensure proper care of spares, tools, and test equipment, and ensure calibration.
