Major Project Travel Technician 3 – Temp Control
Aggreko
• Participate as part of an elite technician team that will work on a wide range of projects from large events, to assisting Utilities customers or being part of a turnaround team in a refinery. • Install, commission, service and repair Aggreko generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment and/or OFA systems. • Troubleshoot equipment failures both on Major Projects and in service centers. • Utilize mathematical formulas to calculate both nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements. • Read and comprehend electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and service manuals. • Maintain thorough knowledge of, practice, and promote safe working conditions in accordance with OSHA, EPA and other required regulations dealing with safe operation of all equipment. • Interface with a remote operations center to prevent failures, help design proactive notification to avoid failures and compliance
Job Requirements
- High school diploma/GED
- 8+ years' experience working on power generators, performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs
- Electrical Generating System Association technician or other various certifications are a plus but not required.
- Knowledge using metering and instruments such as multi-meter’s, amp meters, and Hygrometers
- Based on the customer requirements, you may be required to obtain and maintain a TWIC card or valid DOT medical card, valid driver’s license
- Ability to move or lift objects, typically less than 75 lbs.
