About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Branch Network Management Trainee (SAFE) for National Branch Network as part of the Consumer, Small and Business Banking division. This is an interim non-exempt position. Successful completion and certification of the Branch Manager Readiness program is a pre-requisite to transition into a manager role, based on branch vacancy. Employees who are currently in an Associate Branch Manager (ABM) or Branch Manager (BM) role with Wells Fargo at the time of hire will not participate in the Branch Manager Readiness program. Our Branch Managers are responsible for leading, managing and developing a diverse team of direct and indirect reports, creating a culture that fosters engagement and generates commitment and accountability to business outcomes. Successful Branch Managers are able to lead a highly defined customer engagement process, coaching to specific behaviors that lead to an enhanced customer experience and drive growth in the business, while also driving accountability for operational excellence. This involves executing policies and procedures in alignment with applicable regulations, as well as audit and escalation procedures, and managing the allocation of people and financial resources for the branch. In this role you will: Coach, develop and build a high performing team to execute on business strategies, achieve results, and drive growth of the business; This includes coaching bankers to engage customers to understand their needs and work proactively to build relationships and help customers succeed financially Resolve low to moderately complex issues regarding the customer and employee experience, risk, and growth of the team and the business to meet Branch Network business objectives Identify opportunities for making banking easier for customers through education and demonstration of available digital options to support adoption and customer convenience Lead the branch while engaging stakeholders, peers, and internal partners in collaborating and building strong partnerships to deliver a customer-centric experience Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent This SAFE position has customer contact and job duties which may include the offering/negotiating of terms and/or taking an application for a dwelling secured transaction. As such, this position requires compliance with the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 and all related regulations. Ongoing employment is contingent upon meeting all such requirements, including acceptable background investigation results.
