• Manage the successful execution of complex Workday Time Tracking and Absence Management projects, ensuring alignment with workforce policies, compliance mandates, and measurable business outcomes • Act as a strategic advisor to senior client executives, guiding time and leave transformation initiatives and shaping system roadmaps aligned with business needs • Lead, coach, and develop consulting teams across multiple client engagements, promoting delivery excellence, collaboration, and capability growth • Oversee engagement governance, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource planning, while proactively mitigating risks and resolving escalations • Provide executive oversight on Workday Time and Absence configurations, including calculation rules, accruals, time entry validations, eligibility, and absence compliance • Collaborate across modules and systems (e.g., Payroll, Scheduling, Finance) to ensure seamless integration and operational alignment • Support business development by contributing to account growth, leading pre-sales strategy, and participating in proposals and client presentations.
Job Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in workforce management, HCM consulting, or enterprise systems
- 5+ years of hands-on Workday HCM, with a strong focus on Workday Time Tracking and Absence experience
- Proven success leading end-to-end implementations of Workday Time and Absence, including configuration, testing, and rollout
- Deep understanding of labor laws, time compliance, accrual calculations, leave policies, and system integrations
- Strong leadership and delivery management skills, with experience scaling consulting teams and managing concurrent engagements
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities, with a track record of influencing executive-level decision-making
- Strategic mindset and operational awareness to align system design with business objectives
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Human Resources, Business, Information Systems, or a related field.

• Provide policy guidance and assistance with all aspects of proposal development, administrative forms, sponsor-required certifications and representations, and compliance requirements • Develop an appropriate budget, Principal Investigator checklist, and timeline for each proposal submission • Work directly with the Principal Investigators & external collaborators, and interface with central administrative offices to ensure that applications meet all university, school, and sponsor requirements • Identify and resolve issues during the proposal preparation and submission process • Ensure school-level approvals are included in proposal attachments • Facilitate application submission, ensuring deadlines are met • Respond to sponsor requests and questions • Analyze and interpret complex grants and contract specifications, guidelines, and regulations • Act as a liaison with central administrative offices and external entities to facilitate award management • Monitor, analyze, and manage budgets and expenditures along with all aspects of the award to ensure compliance with sponsor terms and conditions, Uniform Guidelines, and University policies • Create budget reconciliation and forecasting reports and meet regularly with faculty to review their financial situations • Ensure compliance with requirements such as effort reporting and financial & progress reporting • Collaborate with sponsors for appropriate prior approval requests, extensions, budget revisions, and general questions • Facilitate the setup of outgoing subaward agreements and manage invoice approvals • Work closely with the central administrative office to coordinate reviews of incoming contract agreements • Provide interim account setups and courtesy extensions as required • Serve as Human Capital Management (HCM) Costing Specialist, managing payroll • Complete timely journal entries as necessary, grant closeouts, etc.
