Technical Sales Support

• The Technical Sales Support will have the opportunity to support the Electrification IBC (Industries, Building, Channel) Sales organization and customers during the proposal process. • Each day, you will serve as a key technical resource in the assigned area. • You will also showcase your expertise by preparing technical descriptions of the products and technology, determining costs, and preparing final documentation. • Offering technical advice and solutions on inquiries from customers/channels/Sales Specialists about ABB products/systems/applications. • Performing analytic and diagnostic studies to determine the optimal technical solution to meet customer needs and address complex inquiries. • Developing and maintaining new sales opportunities and resolving specific customer problems; and ensuring achievement of targets on orders, Net Price Variance (NPV), and Net Promoter Score (NPS). • Ensuring the achievement of budget goals, including volume targets and profitable growth, across all assigned product groups and in the respective countries.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college (OR a high school diploma / GED) and 10+ years of experience in of sales experience in the electrical industry.
- Customer-focused mindset with proven ability to respond quickly to customer needs.
- Strong oral, written communication skills and presentation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Experience working with contractors and channel partners a plus.
- Strong technical application, take-off, and proposal development skills desired.
- Ability to utilize analytical software and sales tools preferred.
- Understanding of CRM system, SFDC preferred
- Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
