Research Billing Specialist
Aspirus Health
• Perform Medicare coverage analysis and participation in ancillary service reviews along with assistance in research study activations within HealthLink (EPIC) • Review all charges related to clinical trials to ensure Medicare coverage rules and clinical trial contracts are adhered to • Serve as the primary point of contact and technical expert for complex research billing workflows, including providing ongoing updates, training, and involvement in research-related IT projects • Collaborate and build strong working relationship with clinical research departments and clinical research compliance
Job Requirements
- Associate's Degree in Health Care, Business, or a related field
- Two (2) years of research billing, financial analysis, or coding experience may be considered in lieu of degree in addition to the experience below. Required
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Health Information Management, or related field. Preferred
- 2 years of experience in a healthcare revenue cycle or clinic operations role and Epic billing experience. Required
- 1 year of research billing or research operations. Required
- Experience working in OnCore. Preferred

• Ensure that recruitment tasks assigned for projects in Austria, Switzerland regions and any other QQFS assigned markets are fully executed • Reach out to M3 Global Research panelists via phone and carry out cold calling to recruit respondents on allocated projects • Proactively plan, organize and implement panel recruitment solutions on allocated projects • Provide updates in the given format and timings to the project management team • Ensure that outsource targets for allocated markets are achieved • Execute the allocated panel building initiatives in Scandinavian region • Call new registrants to confirm and update email addresses • Provide high quality support to M3 Global Research members via telephone and email/support ticket communication • Investigate fraud respondents and take action based on M3 data quality procedures.
