Email Marketing Specialist
Remote Talent LATAM
• 3 years of experience in email marketing, specializing in writing high-performing email copy, including subject lines, preview text, body copy, and CTAs, tailored to distinct brand voices. • Build and manage one off campaigns (promos, events, launches, seasonal pushes, newsletters) and automated flows (welcome series, post purchase, winback, abandoned cart, browse abandon, VIP or loyalty, birthday, reorder) • Develop and maintain segmentation strategies based on customer behavior, lifecycle stage, purchase patterns, engagement, and intent • Partner with our client designers by providing clear, specific creative direction (hierarchy, CTA placement, mobile responsiveness, accessibility, image and text balance, brand alignment, and conversion best practices). You will not be designing, but you will help ensure the email is optimized • Own deliverability and performance hygiene including list growth best practices, engagement management, sender reputation, and ongoing testing to improve open, click, and conversion rates • Implement strong tracking and measurement including UTM conventions, platform reporting, analytics alignment when applicable, and clear takeaways after sends • Support SMS and push notification strategy and execution to create seamless cross channel customer journeys (timing, cadence, message hierarchy) • Run A B tests and iteratively improve results (subject lines, offers, creative structure, segmentation, send time, cadence)
Job Requirements
- Flawless written English and proven ability to write in multiple tones and voices with strong attention to detail
- Strong understanding of email marketing best practices including deliverability fundamentals, list management, segmentation, frequency and cadence, compliance basics, and performance optimization
- Solid grasp of customer psychology and how to map messaging to intent and lifecycle (right message, right person, right time)
- Experience building and managing both one off campaign emails and trigger based automated flows (drip and lifecycle)
- Comfort across major ESPs including Klaviyo, Mailchimp, and Constant Contact (bonus if you have used others like Attentive, Customer.io, Paytronix or Thanx)
- Experience coordinating with creative teams and giving actionable feedback that improves conversion and brand consistency
- Bonus points: You have worked with restaurants, hospitality, food and beverage, or retail and ecommerce brands
- You have experience with SMS campaigns and push notifications and understand how to prevent channel overlap and fatigue
- You can share measurable outcomes (lift in revenue, CTR, conversion rate, deliverability improvements, flow performance)
