Associate Planner

Facet

• As an Associate Financial Planner, you will support approximately 2 senior lead planners. Your time is balanced across three high-impact buckets: • Directly onboard 2 of your own personal members each week with "live classroom" guidance and real-time support from your Director. • Shadow active planning sessions to learn how to explain complex topics in a simple, jargon-free manner. • Participate in cross-functional rotations within Member Experience (MX) and Trading & Investment Ops (TIO) to learn the full scope of firm operations. • Analyze incoming financial inputs—including data, statements, and tax returns—to independently identify interlocking financial opportunities and tax efficiencies. • Own the core decision-making for underlying financial strategies and map structural paths directly into our system. • Translate big-picture goals into bite-sized, tactical action items and next steps for members. • Act as the primary point of contact for members when lead planners are out of office, ensuring a continuous, warm relationship. • Review inbound messages and utilize our human-at-heart framework to address urgent questions or calm financial anxieties.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in financial planning or a related field.
  • CFP® designation or successfully passed the CFP® exam and within 60 days of satisfying the experience requirement to use the CFP®.
  • 0-2 years of experience in the financial services industry, customer success, or a high-growth startup environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a high-trust, tech-enabled environment.
