Role Description - Answer calls promptly and conduct interpretation in a friendly and professional manner. - Render correct concepts and meanings according to the conventions of established interpretation protocol avoiding omissions or additions. - Speak clearly in both languages using proper pronunciation, enunciation and polite expressions. - Maintain a professional demeanour throughout the call at all times. - Maintain punctuality and availability during scheduled work hours. - Follow client instructions, in compliance with protocol to ensure client expectations are met with the Limited English-speaking Person (LEP), avoiding interaction with the LEP without client’s permission. - Purely interpretation; no dealing with escalation or providing resolution. Qualifications - Excellent English and Fluent in Sorani (Able to read & write). - Malaysian Nationals / Permanent Residence with sound knowledge in both languages. Requirements - Must be working from home 9 hours anytime following the required schedule by the client (shift will fall anytime between 8pm – 8 am, 9 hours shift inclusive of an hour break). - Own home internet (stable internet), minimum of 5MB download and 1MB upload speed. - Need own mobile phone Android Version 6 and above or iOS 12 and above. - Willing to work permanent night shift and must be willing to work on public holidays and weekends. Benefits - Salary: RM 30 Per hour / around RM 4800.00 per month approximately. - Annual Leave (12 days). - MC + Hospitalization Leave. - Medical Coverage and Insurance. - Entitled to 2 days off in a week which will be rotating any day. - Public holiday and off days will be as per country served (US). - Paid replacement leaves.

Role Description This is a remote position for a Thai to and from English Translator and/or Editor on an ongoing basis as a Freelance Independent Contractor. - Must be a U.S. citizen willing to undergo a Tier 1 background investigation to include fingerprint completion. - The role involves the translation or editing of vital records, legal documents, and academic transcripts. - We seek experienced Thai-to-English and/or English-to-Thai translators and/or editors to join our team. - The work is for our U.S. government client and requires full U.S. citizenship. - The role will consist of translating and editing various types of documentation. Qualifications - A native speaker of Thai and near-native English. - Bachelor’s degree in translation or an equivalent qualification. - A minimum of three to five years of proven experience as a translator and/or editor. - Reliable, able to meet deadlines, and highly productive. - A team player with excellent communication skills. - Must be equipped with up-to-date Windows software. - Excellent formatting skills. - Comfortable with one-to-two-day deadlines. - Able to provide per-word rates for either translations or editing or both. - Willing to accept assignments as needed.
