Revenue Cycle Operations Manager

• Overseeing operational performance across core revenue cycle functions • Ensuring accurate claim submission, compliant billing practices, timely reimbursement, and optimal financial performance • Providing leadership and oversight across middle-cycle and back-end revenue cycle operations including charge entry, coding coordination, claim submission, billing, payment posting, denial management, patient collections, and revenue integrity initiatives. • Collaborating with clinical, operational, and finance leadership to improve reimbursement outcomes, operational efficiency, revenue capture, and overall financial performance • Serving as the primary point of contact and relationship manager for all outsourced Accounts Receivable vendors and business partners • Establishing performance expectations, service level agreements (SLAs), and key performance indicators (KPIs) • Conducting regular vendor performance reviews focused on cash collections, aging reduction, denial resolution, productivity, quality, and turnaround times • Monitoring and analyzing AR vendor performance metrics, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement • Providing executive-level reporting and recommendations regarding vendor performance, AR trends, and revenue cycle optimization opportunities.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- Professional certification such as CPB, CPC, CRC or CHAM is preferred but not required
- Minimum 5 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle
- Minimum 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience
- Experience working in a physician practice or specialty clinic preferred.
- Experience with AthenaOne, NextGen, eClinicalWorks, or similar practice management systems preferred.
- Comprehensive knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle operations including patient access, charge capture, billing, payment posting, accounts receivable, and patient financial services.
- Knowledge of payer reimbursement methodologies including Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance plans.
- Familiarity with CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10 coding fundamentals and claim submission requirements.
- Understanding of point-of-service collections, patient financial counseling, and insurance benefit structures.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret revenue cycle performance metrics and operational data.
- Experience utilizing healthcare EMR and practice management systems (e.g., AthenaOne, eClinicalWorks, NextGen) and payer portals.
- Knowledge of healthcare compliance requirements including HIPAA, documentation standards, and billing regulations.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills to support cross-functional operational improvement.

• Own the end-to-end commercial operations and systems infrastructure that underpins revenue execution for our Employer Services business unit. • Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Sales, manage a team that works across deal desk, commercial revenue operations, salesforce/CRM, billing care, and order management. • Own the end-to-end Salesforce platform as the business’s core commercial system. • Drive data integrity, standardization, and operational discipline across all revenue workflows. • Govern Deal Desk, pricing, discounting, and approval frameworks. • Own forecasting methodology, pipeline standards, and inspection cadence.
• Own the MQL to opportunity handoff process — ensuring leads are routed correctly, followed up on promptly, and that no lead goes unactioned. • Partner with marketing to define and maintain lead quality standards, MQL definitions, and conversion benchmarks; hold both sides accountable to agreed service levels. • Monitor pipeline generation against targets on a weekly basis; identify gaps and hold teams accountable to commitments. • Serve as the primary point of escalation when pipeline generation is at risk — proactively surfacing issues to Sales Leadership before they become forecast problems. • Partner with the Director, Forecasting & Revenue Analytics to ensure top-of-funnel metrics connect to pipeline and bookings forecasts. • Coordinate across marketing, offering management, and delivery to ensure the field has the tools and content needed to execute — including pricing, bid sheets, scoping tables, proposal templates, and value messaging. • Own the relationship with Coalfire’s outsourced SDR vendor — including performance management, target setting, activity alignment, and contract oversight. • Own and maintain Coalfire’s master GTM calendar — coordinating activity across marketing campaigns, events, offering launches, partner programs, SDR plays, AE activity, and training. • Travel as required by leadership — generally less than 20%
