Role Description As a Secondary Teacher with CTE (Career and Technical Education), you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional virtual education to secondary school students. This position requires experience and knowledge in Health Science and aligns well with those who have a deep understanding of virtual teaching methodologies, technology integration, and the ability to inspire and engage virtual students. - Develop and adapt curriculum materials that align with state standards and cater to the diverse learning styles and needs of virtual students. - Foster a positive and inclusive online learning environment, implementing effective strategies for student engagement, participation, and behavior management. - Utilize innovative and interactive teaching methods to deliver engaging Health Science lessons, incorporating multimedia resources, discussion forums, virtual simulations, and collaborative activities during scheduled live learning sessions. - Participate in live learning sessions, in addition to preparing recorded learning activities, for all students, with support from the designated Department Chair. - Design, administer, and assess student assignments, projects, labs (when applicable), and exams. - Provide timely and constructive feedback to guide students in their academic progress. - Offer additional support and resources to students who may require extra assistance, ensuring that all learners have the opportunity to succeed. - Maintain regular communication with parents and guardians, providing updates on student progress, addressing concerns, and collaborating on strategies to support student success. - Integrate industry-relevant concepts, healthcare career pathways, and professional skills into instruction to prepare students for postsecondary education and careers in the health sciences. - Stay informed about best practices in online education, Health Science curriculum developments, and virtual teaching methodologies. - Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills. Qualifications - Minimum of two (2) years’ experience teaching in a related subject, preferably in a virtual classroom setting or similar environment. - A strong, demonstrated competency in Health Science, including healthcare concepts, medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, healthcare systems, and career readiness. - Proven experience working independently with minimal supervision, including the ability to manage a digital task list and maintain a stable remote (home-office) infrastructure. - Minimum of 1–2 years of experience using the Google Workspace suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive) in a professional or academic setting. - Demonstrated ability to communicate complex ideas via written channels (Email, Google Chat, and Document Comments) with high clarity and low ambiguity. - Access to a private, secure, high-speed internet connection with a minimum of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speeds. - Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior. - Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. - Strong technology skills and familiarity with virtual learning platforms. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to adapt teaching strategies to the virtual learning environment. - Must have and/or be willing to obtain certification in Indiana, Tennessee, Texas and other states as needed. Requirements - A bachelor’s degree from an accredited university is required; a Master’s is preferred. - A valid Indiana, Tennessee and/or Texas teaching license with endorsements in CTE (Health) or related training and work experience for certification waivers under the District of Innovation Plan (DOI). Role Description As a Field Enablement & Technical Training Lead in the Field Services group, you will be responsible for building the field capabilities NEI needs to execute field work safely, consistently, and confidently. You will be responsible for developing technical training, strengthening field qualification visibility, and helping to ensure team members are prepared for the technical, safety, communication, and client-facing demands of field work.
