Role Description The Project Accountant is an integral part of the Finance/Accounting team that also serves as a liaison with the Project Services team. This position is responsible for invoicing, project setup, assisting with ASC 606 revenue recognition, and various other financial/accounting tasks as they relate to NEI’s portfolio of projects. This position also works closely with the Project Management team on various tasks to support project operations. Strong organizational skills are required to plan, prioritize, and organize a diversified workload. A successful candidate possesses structure, attention to detail, and a positive, team-oriented attitude and the ability to adapt to change in a fast-paced environment. Essential Responsibilities - Execute all aspects of the invoicing process for assigned portfolio of projects/project managers. - Collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure all parties are synchronized on the invoicing process/requirements for each client account. - Complete lien waivers, payment applications, SOV’s, etc. to facilitate client payments. - Follow-up with clients on past due balances and resolve client invoice inquiries. - Setup and/or review setup of new projects in ERP system; ensure project setup aligns with contract details. - Maintain data integrity in ERP system as it relates to projects, especially revenue methods/recognition, project structure, and cost tracking. - Assist with annual audit inquiries relating to projects and ensure proper documentation is maintained throughout the year in support of the annual audit. - Understand implications of various project financial inputs on ASC 606 revenue recognition and advise project managers accordingly. - Review timesheets/payroll to verify that hours are charged to correct projects. - Assist the Project Accounting Manager with ad hoc projects as needed. - A notary is not required at start, will be required to be obtained upon starting. Role Description As a Field Enablement & Technical Training Lead in the Field Services group, you will be responsible for building the field capabilities NEI needs to execute field work safely, consistently, and confidently. Role Description As a Structural Designer in the Renewable Structural group, you will be responsible for the design and detailing of steel, concrete, and foundation systems for utility-scale solar, wind, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and substations nationwide. This position will work collaboratively with engineers and multi-disciplinary teams to develop high-quality construction deliverables. Structural Designers are responsible for drafting and modeling in a manner that ensures accurate, buildable, and cost-effective designs are delivered on time and within budget. This opportunity is available to local / in-office (Lakewood, Colorado) and full-time remote candidates. Role Description As a Team Lead in the Renewable Structural group, you will be responsible for managing a team comprised of engineers, drafters, designers, and/or technicians for utility scale solar projects nationwide. Your primary responsibility will be the accurate, timely, and quality completion of Solar Photovoltaic scopes assigned to the team. The TL will assist in the development of the departments Standard Best Practices (SBPs) and enforcing / implementing them where pertinent. Team Leads will be a mentor and coach to employees on their team and help them individually as professionals.
