Role Description Join Amgen’s Mission of Serving Patients. In this vital role, the Training and Development Dir position will focus on creating, developing, and executing Obesity and Related Conditions Sales Training, Product Launch Support, and Strategies for the Commercial Operations organization. The Director will partner closely with Amgen’s Learning and Performance team and Obesity and Related Conditions Business at Amgen. This role will be central to orchestrating the critical components required for a successful launch, including: - Defining hiring profiles - Developing manager interview guides - Building launch readiness tools - Conducting workshops - Creating field execution resources The Director will lead a team responsible for designing and facilitating high-impact training while staying closely connected to field realities through: - Sales calls - Remote coaching - Ongoing field engagement - Stakeholder partnerships This leader will own the end-to-end training and launch readiness ecosystem, ensuring our teams are prepared, confident, and equipped to execute with excellence at launch and beyond.
