Senior Tax Manager

Duck Creek Technologies

• Lead critical aspects of Duck Creek Technologies’ global tax function • Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant tax reporting across multiple jurisdictions • Partner closely with Finance, Accounting, Legal, Treasury, and external advisors • Manage federal, state, local, and international income tax compliance activities • Lead the quarterly and annual income tax provision process under ASC 740 • Support international tax provision and compliance requirements • Oversee tax-related journal entries and account reconciliations • Support tax planning initiatives and lead tax audits

Job Requirements

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive tax experience within public accounting, corporate tax, or a combination of both
  • Experience managing U.S. federal, state, and local income tax compliance processes
  • Experience preparing or reviewing ASC 740 income tax provisions and related financial reporting requirements
  • Experience coordinating with external tax advisors, auditors, and regulatory authorities
  • Experience supporting multinational organizations and international tax operations
  • Advanced knowledge of U.S. federal, state, and local income tax laws and regulations
  • Familiarity with Workday, Avalara, tax provision software, ERP systems, and tax technology solutions
