Role Description - Work with key business and engineering stakeholders to define the vision, strategy, and business roadmap for facility design and automation. - Apply professional and technical expertise in engineering to lead, plan, organize and coordinate the activities of a multidisciplinary design team during requirement definition, concept, detail design, and implementation phases of facility design projects to improve measures associated with capacity, cost, quality, service, safety, and people. - Coordinate and lead all aspects of change management including stakeholder engagement, consensus building, transition planning, monitoring & control related to new facility and equipment planning. - Provide technical skills and expertise to develop, model, simulate, optimize, design, and install sortation systems and processes. - Oversee the collection of data required for various projects and conducts studies or analyses using this data. - Use proven simulation and project management tools in the analysis of business solutions and provides comprehensive reports and recommendations. - Provide engineering expertise in the use of proper technology to assess space requirements, work methods and health and safety solutions. - Use proven financial evaluation methods and data-based engineering analyses to properly evaluate project feasibility, risks, and benefits. - Participate in cost reduction efforts by analyzing proposals to determine viability, operations impact and return on investment. - Lead and manage a team of 6-8 operations engineers. - Domestic travel required up to 80% of the time. 100% telecommuting permitted, work may be performed from anywhere in the U.S. Qualifications - Master's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other STEM related discipline and 3 years of experience as a project engineer, process engineer, project manager, manufacturing engineer, or related occupation. - Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other STEM related discipline and 7 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation as equivalent to the Master's degree and three years of experience. - Must have one year of experience in the following skills: - Directly managing and responsible for large material handling or automation projects. - Lead and manage a team of 6-8 engineers. - Design and/or implementation experience with integrated automation solutions, such as complex material handling systems, high-speed packaging lines, or manufacturing lines. - Microsoft Office products: Excel, Project and Outlook. - CAD software (AutoCAD, REVIT, BIM 360, etc.). Role Description Mindera is looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead and scale engineering capabilities within a large-scale contact centre ecosystem. This role sits at the heart of the customer experience, directly influencing how millions of customer interactions are handled efficiently and reliably. You will work in an environment with a high operational footprint (500+ agents), complex integrations, and a lean engineering team, where structure, clarity, and delivery discipline need to be established quickly. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong technical understanding, delivery ownership, and people leadership. Key Responsibilities - Establish engineering discipline and delivery structure in a team operating without a defined backlog or delivery rhythm. - Define and clarify technical workstreams, expectations, and priorities as the product backlog is shaped. - Lead and mentor engineers working across agent experience, telephony/IVR, AI-driven automation, and backend integrations. - Drive improvements across contact centre platforms including Zendesk, Twilio, Google CCAI, and Dialogflow CX. - Own integrations with orders, payments, refunds, and fulfilment systems, ensuring reliability and scalability. - Partner with product and business stakeholders to prepare and deliver against a Product Backlog List (PBL) once defined. - Ensure high standards of engineering quality, observability, and operational excellence. - Act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, translating complex problems into executable plans.
