JOB TITLE: Senior Manager, Engineering LOCATION: REMOTE US THE ROLE: As a Senior Engineering Manager for Data Engineering, you will be leading and growing a team responsible for building, scaling, and evolving our data platform, pipelines, and analytics infrastructure. You will drive the technical vision for how data is collected, modeled, and delivered to power operational, strategic, and ML/AI goals across the company. You will partner closely with Product, Analytics, and Infrastructure leaders to ensure our data ecosystem is reliable, performant, and future-ready. WHAT YOU’LL DO: Lead, mentor, and grow a team of Data Engineers and Tech Leads focused on data pipelines, warehousing, and platform development. Define the long-term data engineering roadmap in partnership with Product, Analytics, and Infrastructure. Foster a culture of engineering excellence, data quality, and collaboration across teams. Establish clear goals, metrics, and accountability for delivery and operational health. Stay updated on the latest technologies, best practices, and industry trends in software development. Collaborate with senior engineers to shape technical strategy and achieve buy-in across the organization. Champion and advocate for engineering best practices, code quality, and scalability to maintain high standards across projects. Individual compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's experience.   • Proven expertise in technical leadership within a cross-functional and distributed team environment.
  • Outstanding communication, organizational skills, and a user-centric mindset.
  • Experience implementing agile methodologies, particularly Kanban and/or Lean.
  • Experience leading teams building production features for SaaS applications.
  • Proficient in strategy planning and stakeholder management.
