Role Description The Senior Administrator-Media Buyer is responsible for executing paid media campaigns across traditional and emerging channels, including TV, radio, print, outdoor, streaming, and transit. The position supports media strategy through market research, media buying execution, campaign delivery oversight, and financial reconciliation. Success in this role requires strong collaboration, attention to detail, and a working knowledge of media research, buying, and implementation. Responsibilities - Campaign Management and Media Buying: - Foster effective working relationships with media vendors and internal partners. - Execute approved media buys across traditional and non-traditional channels. - Serve as the primary liaison for media vendor coordination and contract implementation. - Maintain accurate media summaries and campaign documentation. - Manage campaign timelines, deliverables, and trafficking requirements. - Oversee vendor performance to ensure full delivery of ordered buys and negotiate make goods as needed. - Project and Operational Support for Media Strategy: - Manage project handoffs across internal and external partners. - Support tactical execution with Accounts Payable, Purchasing, and other cross-functional teams. - Ensure alignment between strategy, execution, and operations processes. - Media Research: - Research media opportunities in new and existing markets. - Evaluate media tactics for reach, efficiency, investment, and goal alignment. - Gather market insights related to competitive activity, risks, and opportunities. - Review new media opportunities for strategic alignment with marketing goals. - Invoice Support – Media Strategy: - Strong understanding of media invoicing and processing. - Manage complex vendor invoice disputes. - Ensure financial accuracy and compliance across media investments. Qualifications - Bachelors degree (or higher) -OR- 4+ years professional work experience. - 3+ years’ experience in Marketing, Media, Communications, PR or other related field. - 2+ years’ experience buying traditional media (TV, radio, print, outdoor, digital, transit). - Strong understanding of media projects, ad specifications and vendor requirements. - Outstanding interpersonal, written and oral communications skills. - Excellent problem solving and creative thinking capabilities. - Ability to flexibly manage complex processes in a fast-paced environment. - Detail oriented and organized with ability to manage expectations and deadlines. - Confidence in fostering internal and external relationships. - Topline understanding of Supply Chain and Accounts Payable.
