• Work with key stakeholders, including the customer, users, and other contractors, to gather, understand, and document business, functional, technical & non-technical requirements. • Elicit input from customers regarding requirements. • Translate business needs into functional specifications and user stories that align with outcome driven customer objectives. • Collaborate with developers, testers, administrators, and other consulting team members to deliver custom solutions that meet client expectations. • Adhere to project timelines, manage deliverables and client communications, ensuring that projects stay on track and within scope. • Coordinate and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with client teams, as well as provide end-user training. • Follow agile methodology (Scrum/Kanban) and deliver requirements/ specifications for Sprint teams. • Support change control processes established to monitor and control project scope. • Understand complex and organization-specific datasets. • Learn and apply relevant federal policy and regulations to data analysis. • Demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence.

Job Requirements

  • 5 years' experience as a Product Analyst, ideally working with Federal Healthcare IT Projects.
  • Experience supporting requirements capture, management and analysis activities along all phases of the agile software development life cycle, including conducting user interviews, leading and facilitating JAD sessions, and developing business process models and formal specifications.
  • 1-3 years' experience in federal consulting.
  • Demonstrated Strong interest in health policy.
  • Demonstrated commitment to delivering outstanding products and service that meet or exceed our client’s expectations.
  • Ability to multi-task between complex projects during seasonal peak periods

Position Summary: Aetna Resources, LLC., a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Atlanta, GA: Sr. Analyst, Actuarial to serve as market-based actuary for commercial business areas on pricing, budgeting, and insure. Develop pricing strategies to drive profitable growth in conjunction with experience analysis reviews. Partner with several business functions (Sales, Underwriting, Product, Network and Finance) to develop strategic initiatives that drive profitable membership growth. Conduct competitive analysis to help market understand the competitive landscape. Prepare and analyze intermediate level data for use in actuarial experience studies, valuation or pricing projects. Drive the maintenance of pricing and underwriting tools and provide support for helping others understand underwriting case specific issues by answering technical questions. Work on special projects that require actuarial research and analysis which may involve partnering with other business areas both in and out of finance. Develop reserve factors (to assist in evaluating, reviewing, and estimating unpaid claims). Coordinate, scope and maintain a continuously optimized valuation system. Contribute to product development and re-pricing initiatives. Learn and apply knowledge regarding current pricing models and risk management practices. Prepare routine reports and communicate research results to manager both in written format and orally. Continually assess established training and work processes to identify areas for effectiveness and efficiency improvements, and contribute to operating effectiveness through information sharing, suggested process improvements and effective implementation of change. Communicate trends and issues identified and proactively recommend resolutions to upper management and key stakeholders. Drive the broad-scale preparation of financial reporting as needed. Hybrid position: remote work permitted but must live within commuting distance of designated office location and remain available to report to office as needed and required. Multiple positions. Requirements: Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Actuarial Science, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Requires two (2) years of experience in conducting actuarial valuations and 6 months of experience or completion of a university-level course, research project, internship, or thesis in each of the following: • Java, Python, or R; • Machine learning and predictive modeling; • VBA-based valuation models; and • Excel, including Power Query and Power Pivot. Pay Range: $79539.00/year to $118000.00/year. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
