Corpay

Role Description Corpay is currently looking to hire a VP of Field Sales within our Payables division. This position falls under our Corpay Payables line of business and is a remote role based in the US, though we do require someone in Southern California. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of 7–10 Field Sales Representatives, helping them grow both personally and professionally while driving performance to meet and exceed sales goals. You will report directly to the SVP, Payables and regularly collaborate with the broader Payables field sales team. How We Work - Assigned workspace in home and office environments - Company-issued equipment - Formal, hands-on training Role Responsibilities - Leading and coaching a team of 7–10 Field Sales Representatives to achieve and exceed sales targets - Driving new B2B business across the Payables product suite, including AP automation and commercial cards - Tracking and managing KPIs weekly, including pipeline development, prospecting activity, deals closed, and customer onboarding - Recruiting, developing, and retaining top sales talent while staying aligned with market and product trends - Conducting weekly one-on-one coaching sessions, team meetings, and joint field visits - Supporting performance management through ongoing feedback, training, and development - Reporting on team performance weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually - Partnering cross-functionally with internal departments to support sales initiatives and client success - Managing team-related expenses within budget guidelines - Representing Corpay professionally at industry events, client meetings, and networking opportunities Qualifications - 5+ years of professional B2B sales leadership experience - Proven success leading high-performing, target-driven sales teams - Experience managing within a metrics- and activity-driven sales environment - Strong background in hunter/new business development sales - Skilled at territory management, value proposition development, and sales cycle coaching - Strategic thinker with strong commercial and operational acumen - Excellent communication, relationship-building, and listening skills - Proficient in MS Office and CRM/sales tools (Salesforce preferred) - Effective at recruiting, mentoring, and performance management - Self-starter with strong initiative and ability to manage competing priorities - Bachelor’s degree preferred Benefits - Medical, Dental & Vision benefits available the 1st month after hire - Automatic enrollment into our 401k plan (subject to eligibility requirements) - Virtual fitness classes offered company-wide - Robust PTO offerings including major holidays, vacation, sick, personal, and volunteer time - Employee discounts with major providers (i.e. wireless, gym, car rental, etc.) - Philanthropic support with both local and national organizations - Fun culture with company-wide contests and prizes - Competitive base salary - Commission plan - Fuel, car, and home office allowances - Employee benefit plan
