Job Description

Divisional Sales Trainer

Westlake Financial

• Design, develop and implement comprehensive quarterly and annual sales training plans that support Westlake’s sales objectives. • Monitor effectiveness of training techniques and suitability of training programs. • Train • Provide up-to-date training handouts, slides, and videos to the sales force. • Review and purchase potential sales contracts during dealer visits. • Participate in Regional meetings, trade shows, Regional activities, special events and seminars. • Willingness to travel 3-4 days per week

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university, preferred
  • Automotive, Finance and Sales Experience, required
  • Previous Outside Sales Experience, preferred
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office (excel, word, outlook), required
  • Knowledge of Web Applications, required
  • Knowledge/Experience with the use of DealerTrack, Routeone, or CUDL, beneficial
  • Strong supervisory and management skills.
  • Detail-oriented, ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities.
  • Effective and professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Advanced PC skills; ability to work with multiple platforms.
  • Ability to persuade and influence others
  • Presentation skills (from initial creation to delivery)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Knowledge communication skills
  • Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques
  • Significant local travel to current and potential clients. This requires the possession of a valid state driver's license
